Wow: This home is truly stunning! The back of the house is approximately 70% glass with sweeping views of the National Forest and mountains. It’s also a fantastic choice for multiple families with three master bedroom suites with bathrooms, and its spacious (more than 5,300 square feet) multilevel layout gives everyone room to stretch out and relax – including the family pup! If you’re looking for a great home for your large group, look no further. Everyone will love it! Happy Trails Lodge is a 5-bedroom, 5.5-bathroom, dog-friendly luxury home with plenty of room for groups of up to 14\. Set in the forest above Breckenridge, it’s just a short drive (or in the winter, shuttle ride) to downtown Breckenridge and the ski area base. Ski-in/ski-out access is available for expert skiers. A short trail that starts on the property leads to the green Lower Lehman run, where you can ski straight to the QuickSilver SuperChair. Skiers with intermediate ability or better can ski back to the house via the Peak 10 Falcon Chair slopes. The impressive combination of wood and stonework gives this home the feel of an elegant Rocky Mountain castle. The main level is a bright, open gathering area for the whole gang with luxurious leather seating, a floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace and large windows to let the forest light in. There’s also a desk/work area for catching up on emails while taking in the views of Peak 10! The inviting custom kitchen features granite counters, a Viking gas range and oven, Sub-Zero refrigerator, top-quality pots, pans and utensils — it’s first class all the way. The large dining table seats eight, additionally there’s room for three at the counter and four at the breakfast nook table. Just off the kitchen is a deck, a gas grill, and a table/chair set for outdoor dining, too. Downstairs you’ll find another living room with a large flat-screen TV and another large rock fireplace. Off this living area outside is a large outdoor hot tub and deck. There’s another living/den area with a huge corner couch and a large flat-screen TV. There are even pool and foosball tables on this level! Other amenities include a two-car garage (with parking for three vehicles in the driveway), a washer and dryer, complementary Wi-Fi throughout the home. Like every Summit Mountain Rentals property, the home comes stocked with plenty of linens, towels and hotel-like toiletries, and it’s professionally cleaned and inspected before each arrival. The house is spacious, perfect for a large family group. It was also well stocked with starter items such as shampoo, conditioner and lotion. The kitchen also had coffee filters, coffee and spices to help get the day started. Besides the 5 bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms, there were several lounges / living rooms for people to spread out. Drop off the back of the cabin to ride down to Peak 9 and 10 Superchair's, or a short drive to the parking lot for the Breck Connect Gondola to Peaks 7 and 8.The free shuttle buses also maker it easy to get around with the closest shuttle stop literally outside the cabin.Our clan of eleven people ranged from 8 years old to 53, all of whom loved the cabin. We had our three adult children and their families, and everybody had plenty of room. The house is luxurious and well appointed. People had room to be together and also separate. The views of the 10 Mile Range and the Breckenridge ski area were fantastic. It was easy to get to town and to trailheads. The thing we were surprised at and loved the most was there’s a trailhead right next to the driveway. We used it a number of times for afternoon and evening walks in the woods. The house is warm and inviting, with a well-furnished kitchen, game room areas, and several nice bedrooms and bathrooms. The house and furnishings are a bit dated, but we didn't mind that at all. In addition, communications with the property management company were outstanding before, during and after our stay. We can highly recommend this property and Summit Mountain Rentals, the property manager. We would definitely stay here again. ##### Andrew F. The bed configuration for the kids was great. There were 3 bunk beds in a large room. The rest of the group was 3 couples and a single. All those bedrooms had a bathroom with them. There was a lot of separation between the bedrooms which gave everyone privacy. There were hiking trails right outside the back of the property. Enjoyed the downstairs living room with pool table and large tv to watch US Open. Also close enough to downtown, $20-25 Lyft to the nightlife. The views were amazing also! Our kids loved the sleds. We loved the ping pong tables, foosball table, and pool table. The place has sooo many levels and stairs which was a little scary for our infant but it all worked out. More than enough beds and rooms for all of us. Sledding right outside the back door was sooo fun and a trip highlight. Amazing response time from the management company anytime we had a question. Any issues (heat and refrigeration) we had, property management responded right away. We did have one bed that had some old food and crumbs in it but it was easily cleaned up. We did have a few issues with internet/tv that the management company couldn’t solve for over the phone. Nothing got into our way of having a good time, however, we did have multiple people mention the house could use a deep cleanse. Ski out is very easy. Be careful of where you go when skiing in. Would not recommend taking the out of bounds trail to the house if you are on snow board.
