Building 4 - a true Ski in/Ski out. The rental comes with a free locker (key in room) to store your skis, boards… whatever. Right outside of the locker room you can ski out to the restaurants and lifts. My husband and I would stay here again! So many hot tubs to choose from. There are two cheap comforters, no blankets. We requested blankets and pillows with some fluff - after some back and forth, housekeeping brought two of each (for 4 registered guests). -No hand soap in bathroom; when I requested such, I was told I could come pick it up at their office. I declined and they did have it delivered 5 hours later. -Pots and pans are scratched - dangerous for teflon coated pans. Not enough plates/utensils/glasses. Only two glass drinking glasses - kids were drinking water out of wine glasses. No oil or cooking spray, salt/pepper only. -No containers, wrap, or plastic bags to store food. No cookie sheet; requested on our last full day - no response. -Listing says washer/dryer, but it is not in unit. I was told there were community ones on the first floor. -Carpets are dirty, need replaced. The couch is stained and has extensive fading. The pillows are stained and shed down feathers everywhere. -Light in the kitchen is broken in several spots and has little dead bugs on it. -Lock to the sliding glass door is broken; wooden stick is provided.-Fan in the bathroom goes on with light. It is extremely loud - easy to update.-Popcorn ceiling, wallpaper peeling in places. Séjour de 5 nuits en mars 2024 ### 10/10 – Excellent #### Mangold Family 22 mars 2024 Points forts : Propreté #### Beaver Run 4308 was really good for us Building 4’s location that this unit is in with ski lockers right off the trail to Beaver lift were great! Rental shop was just down the hill so pickup and return was convenient. So easy to get up and be on the lifts in under an hour. Patio faces the mountain so it’s quiet but since it faces west the unit heats up in the afternoon when done skiing for the day. Just opened the patio doors and we were fine though. Beds were fine and condo had everything we needed. The resort has everything too including plenty of shuttle service around town. The only thing (and this seems to be Beaver Run complex wide) is the hot water lines are a bit weird. We had friends staying in other units managed by other companies and they experienced the same thing. For some reason the hot water pressure is less than half that of cold water. Showering was fine though but be careful because the hot water is super hot and it’s a fine line to turn it towards cold and get it warm. We figured it out eventually though. Did not affect our stay. Perfect location for Ski in/out convenience. Overall a very good experience. But .......could be realy great with some care and updates. Sofa bed is not up to standard expected. Mattress and Topper need urgent replacement. Many lamps have old bulbs. Weak lighting. Need new stronger LED bulbs. Some electric wall sockets are loose. One in particular is DANGEROUS. Property was exactly as advertised, 90’s ski lodge vibe which was what we were looking for, wood burning fireplace was awesome, plus the unexpected convenience of having wood delivered to the room was amazing! excellent location!! My only complaint is that more initial toiletries could have been stocked, started out with half a roll of TP, we were there for 5 days and had to buy more. Also, the shower had only scalding hot water which was fine with the jacuzzi tub there to use instead. Was nervous about the bed comfort level after reading the reviews, but it was fine. A bit outdated, but I like that it's a 2 minute walk to peak 8\. Everything is okay, but you guys have to change out the bed and sofa bed!!! It's so old, stiff and uncomfortable. Like you're sleeping on brick in the master bed and the sofa bed in the living room sinks right under. We had to put an extra mattress pad on the sofa bed that was provide in the closet with extra blankets. And please wash all your extra sheets and blanket in that closet. The location is perfect but the unit’s furnishings are extremely dated and many of the dishes in kitchen were not clean. It is listed as sleeping 4, however the pullout sofa is horrible! Had to pull extremely thin mattress off of pullout and place directly on floor, not acceptable when advertised as “sleeping 4”. Also, the cleanliness of the blankets for the sleeper sofa was questionable.🤷🏼‍♀️ The location of Beaver Run makes this a more expensive choice but you are not getting what you pay for with the actual accommodations of the unit.
