Getting Around: There are several options for getting around in and around Braunton: By car: Having a car is the most convenient way to explore North Devon and surrounding areas. Free parking is available on the drive and many local attractions and towns can be reached within a short drive. On foot: Braunton is a small village, and many of the local attractions can be reached on foot. By Bicycle: Cycling is a popular way to explore North Devon, and several local companies offer bike rentals or we have plenty of space to store your own. The village has a cycle hire scheme that allows you to rent a bike for a small fee. By public transport: There are regular bus services that run from Brauntonk to nearby towns such as Woolacombe, Saunton and Croyde. The nearest train station is in Barnstaple, which has regular services to London, Bristol, and other major cities. Overall, while having a car is the most convenient option, there are plenty of other ways to explore the area and get around without one.
