It's more than just a place to stay, it's a place to experience! With beautiful views of the Manatee River and situated steps from Mineral Springs Park and the 3 mile long Bradenton Riverwalk, you have quick access to fishing, dining, shopping, beaches, gardens, and historical sites. This newly updated villa is one bedroom (with queen size bed) one bath with walk in tiled shower and fully functional stocked kitchen. There is a queen size sleeper sofa in the living room. The front patio has stunning views of the mile wide Manatee River. The back patio has a fabulous garden view complete with palm trees and a century old Live Oak Tree with babbling waterfall underneath. Head out back to walk the gardens, sit by the waterfall, nap on the hammock, or take a dip in the heated pool. While sitting out back, you can read a book, listen to the birds, watch the abundant butterflies, lizards and dragonflies or play cards/boardgames. If you bring your well behaved pup along, Fido will definitely enjoy the fenced in dog area in the back yard - complete with toys and lots of grass for him to roll around on! While outside, you may detect the faint smell of oranges in the air (we're close to Tropicana)! You will enjoy walking through Mineral Springs Park complete with a spring, boardwalk, fishing pier, big trees and observation tower. You can see manatees, dolphins, sting rays, sharks, pufferfish, crabs and much more! The fishing is awesome here and you have your own grill to bbq whatever you catch. If you'd rather dip your toes in the sand, head over to Anna Maria Islands beaches. It's a quick 15 minute drive from the villa. You will love the sugary sand, turquoise waters and breathtaking sunsets. Another option is to eat and shop on Bradenton's Main Street, right off the riverwalk. Or check out Bridge Street on Anna Maria Island which also has many shops and old Florida charm. Plus it's close to many attractions such as the Manatee Village Historical Park, Bishop Museum, Lecom Park, IMG Academy, Village of the Arts, Mote Aquarium, various nature preserves and the most beautiful beaches in the US. After you enjoy your day doing whatever makes you smile, unwind by watching the gorgeous sunsets over the river from your villa. My dog enjoyed the pet area. The villa was absolutely gorgeous. The kitchen had everything we need to cook in. My sister and i enjoyed sitting out in the backyard it was beautifully decorated. We also liked being close to the Riverwalk. We walked the rivery every day. Theresa was very helpful in answering our questions timely manner. The only thing we didn't like on our stay is the cool weather and you have no control over that. I would recommend Salty Lime to my friends and family. The detail that went into the villa we stayed in was amazing from the bathroom, living room and bedroom. Definitely would go back. Theresa and her family poured love into their property and units and it shows in every place. This was a difficult trip being for a family death but the Salty Lime villa was a comfortable and peaceful place to come back to after a long day. The villa was spotless and I usually have to clean every place despite the "cleaning fees" places charge. Not here everything was pristine and had so many personal touches from her greeting board with our names and message "Love lives on" to greet us on such a difficult day. I miss these personal touches when staying at other places ran by properly management where we're just another number. The location is perfect. Quiet and peaceful by the river with pretty views. Outdoor space was my favorite with lights everywhere at night. Garden and small water feature were very relaxing. Don't skip on this place you won't be disappointed!! Book it now :-) ##### Jessica W. The Salty Lime vila was nothing short of beautiful, peaceful, clean. The outdoor space was a total Zen space. We met the owners and they truly have put their whole hearts into this space. Let’s get the basics out of the way… EVERYTHING you will need is there. From Q-tips to bicycles, extra pillows to coolers. Everything was spotless and well maintained. Check in couldn’t have been more simple. Ok now for my opinion… there was more love and care put into this place than anywhere else I’ve ever stayed. Every little detail is welcoming. I could’ve never left the property for the entire vacation and considered myself fortunate. Lounging in the pool, chasing lizards in the back yard, mastering the subtle art of the hammock dismount. It’s a walk through the grass and you’re at the riverwalk. That place deserves a review on its own. Then the sun goes down and the place looks like something out of a storybook. The lights, the little waterfall, the billion year old tree. Trust me you just have to see it. The host is amazing too. She can give you great advice on things to do around the area, quick to answer any questions, welcoming, and extremely kind. The only thing else I’ll say is, if you’re waffling between this place and somewhere else like I was, pick this one. My husband is in the military and is about to be shipped off again, so we wanted a quiet place to connect before he leaves. The Villa was so quiet, clean & well appointed. The hosts were wonderful. This is right across from the riverwalk. You can see it from the front patio. The backyard oasis is just phenomenal. So many little spots to sit and relax- BIG banyan tree that lights up at night- a waterfall- a sweet little plunge pool… too many cool things to name them all. The total privacy in the backyard of your Villa is a picturesque Island. With heavy vegetation of Palms and lush bushes it gives each Villa their own privacy. The fenced, heated, pool is also a tranquil area. In all areas there is a ton of seating.
