Beautifully remodeled, comfortable beds, nice kitchen, and wonderful pool space! The pool is not heated, so it was a little chilly, but still very nice & refreshing. Roku TVs in each of the bedrooms and in the outdoor space. The neighborhood is quiet. Close to a huge park. The beach on Anna Maria Island is only 6ish miles away, but if you leave during beach traffic it's about a 30 minute drive. When we returned at night, it was only 10-15 minutes. Coquina beach toward the south end of the island is very beautiful (amazing powdery sand), and was less crowded than the beaches to the north. Having a couple of chairs and a beach umbrella available was very appreciated! Only a couple of minor things that could be improved. We like ceiling fans to circulate air. The master bedroom doesn't have one. We couldn't get the fan to turn on in one of the other rooms, and in the 3rd bedroom the fan could only be on when the light is on (not ideal for sleeping). The kitchen could use another frying pan and a smaller pot (when we were there, it was one frying pan and a larger pot). A couple of other lounge chairs around the pool would be nice. Again - all of these are minor and didn't detract from our enjoyment (as evidenced by my 5 star review). Carlos was awesome! Very responsive to questions and wonderfully communicative! The host was very responsive when we asked a question. He even had a little gift basket waiting for us and checked in on us to make sure everything was okay. The home is nicely renovated.
