Your tropical vacation awaits in this 2 bedroom/2 bathroom condo on beautiful Bradenton beach. Located on the 1st Floor, it's short walk across the street and your on soft sandy beach and an even shorter walk from porch to pier and you looking out on shimmering bay waters.

Runaway Bay is in walking distance from the Historic Bridge Street, the Hub of entertainment in this wonderful beach community, a street where you can shop, dine, and play from beach to bay. The free trolley also makes a stop on Gulf Drive, right in front of Runaway Bay’s complex. Take the trolley to the beach or anywhere else you want to visit on the island without worrying about getting sand in your car. Visit downtown Anna Maria Island, Holmes Beach, or any of the local restaurants or establishments. You can even jump on the trolley for just a scenic ride around the island! Mejor imposible: muy cerca de la playa y con el intercostal en el patio trasero...

Lugar muy tranquilo. Las habitaciones amplias y cómodas, un lujo todo, especialmente el muelle trasero que entra en el intercostal donde se puede pescar y ver espectaculares amaneceres. Regresaría 1000 veces a este lugar.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Condo. It was a great place with everything we needed for a very enjoyable time. The pool was beautiful, we enjoyed it very much. The beach was just across the street and the free trolley stop was located at the entrance to the Condo's. A perfect location for a great vacation. We would definitely return to this location!

Great stay!

The unit has been updated since the pictures in the posting. There is no carpet. The kitchen was extremely well stocked. It has anything you would need - even including a shrimp deveiner. The walk to the beach was doable. TVs were smart TVs. Beds were good. The pool was very nice. There was no noise between units. The property management was very responsive. I would have zero hesitations staying here again!

Great

It was great. The pool was warm and clean but Wish it was open later. Easy access to the Gulf. The kids wanted to play tennis but no rackets available. We did get to play shuffle board. It was very clean and loved the pond and dock to fish from. We had a very good time.

The condo is quite dated. The sofa and loveseat in living area are small and not comfortable. The floors and shower floor is dirty. The pool and sunroom look much bigger in pictures than they really are. Kitchen equipment is poor.

Since we had stayed in another unit several years ago, I expected the unit to be in much better condition. We ran out of toilet paper and dishwasher detergent and were told we needed to purchase our own. We didn't have TV for two days because the cable had been cut outside. The ice and water from the refrigerator tasted terrible until someone changed the filter.

We enjoyed staying here. Not far from the beach and other restaurants and attractions between Anna Maria and braydenton. The only bad thing was the washing machine didn’t work properly and I ruined a few shirts bc my tide tablet didn’t get dissolved and they were stained. I would recommend replacing washing machine.

Great place! Would stay again - but not while paving!

We loved our stay at this condo! It was clean and easy to check in. Before we arrived, I tried to contact the manager many times via email and my questions were unanswered. About a week away from our trip and throughout our stay, the managers were easy to communicate with. Best Beach Getaways had a hard job dealing with all of the COVID details. They also had a hard job dealing with complaints because the HOA within the complex decided to hire people to pave the parking lot during this busy tourist time. Finding parking was awful. However, the vacation rental company seemed to handle this with grace. Thank you for our stay on beautiful Bradenton Beach!

Home away from home

This is a great property in a great complex. This is truly a home away from home because it has EVERYTHING you need. We know it used to be a primary home, so it has absolutely everything you need for cooking, food storage, serving dishes, pans (it's a bakers paradise!), cooking utensils etc. It has all the appliances you'll need including a toaster oven, toaster, blender, Crock-Pot! and more! They have good books you can read (and there's more in the club house), puzzles and games. The condo has a great layout and a nice placement in the complex. It's on the east side, close to the Bay, so no road noise and close to the pier. (The sunrise on the pier is beautiful.) It's a short walking distance to the front of the complex where the pool is and across the road to the beach. There were 6 beach chairs, an umbrella and a umbrella auger/ holder. The screened in porch was great. The grounds are beautiful. So many complexes are just cement and sand but this has grass and lots of flowering bushes. The pool is fantastic! It's warm! Lots of chairs and chaise lounges, umbrellas and tables. Very friendly, nice people here. They have a few activities including swim exercise, snack night (BYOB) and bingo. Plenty of towels in the condo, including a couple beach towels and they provided basic paper products that you'd need for your stay. They also have non perishables that you can use and leave what you don't use, so basic spices, oil, vinegar, sugar, coffee filters, etc are on hand. The ONLY thing I would suggest is that the carpets be cleaned. There are some spots in the family room in particular that need attention and it looks like it could use a shampoo in general. If you rent here, you'll be very happy. We would definitely come again. Thanks for a lovely week on beautiful and fun AMI!

Runaway Bay getaway

We had an enjoyable stay in Bradenton Beach. The location is wonderful, not too commercialized so very quiet. The trolley stop was convenient, right at the entrance to the complex. Access to the beach was awesome; right across the street so an easy short walk from the unit. Very positive experience all around!
