We live locally and are available in an emergency otherwise we give you your space and are available via text or call with any questions. Boyne City, Michigan, United States Boyne City is recognized as a vacation destination for all seasons. Located along the shores of Lake Charlevoix, the Boyne City downtown has endless opportunities for you to experience including, dining at local eateries, Friday Night’s Stroll the Street, Farmer’s Market on Wednesday and Saturday, and weekly Night Concerts in the Park. Crystal clear waters of Lake Charlevoix and the Boyne River provide unlimited opportunities for water fun. Enjoy the several beaches around town or the public fishing dock. Kayak down the Boyne River into Lake Charlevoix. Visit the amazing Young State Park with a fantastic beach on Lake Charlevoix, bring your bikes and ride the bike trail from Boyne City through Young State Park. Visits local unique favorites like Lavender Hill Farms and the Petoskey Wine Region (formerly the Bay View Wine Trail). Boyne Mountain Resort is only 6 miles away and offers skiing and snowboarding, zip lining, horseback riding, fat tire snow biking, snowshoeing, tubing, the largest indoor water park in Northern Michigan- Avalanche Bay, as well as the Sky Bridge, the world's longest timber-towered suspension bridge. The resort also offers a host of eateries. Avalanche Mountain Preserve, which comprises 300-plus acres, is less than a mile away from our cottage and offers many types of recreational activities including hiking, biking, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, skating, jogging, and snowmobiling, as well as the newest additions, an archery range, and disc golf. Walk to downtown Boyne City, Peninsula Park (beach and Lake Charlevoix). 6 miles to Boyne Mountain 15 miles to Petoskey 18 miles to Charlevoix Day trips to: Mackinac Island Traverse City Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes Access to the full house including laundry in the basement. The completion of renovations in 2024 prepared this cottage with everything you need to make your stay comfortable. Plenty of lighting, new mattresses, bedding and bath towels, charging stations, hair dryer, and bath amenities, as well as a well-stocked kitchen, will enhance your experience. MAIN FLOOR: Bedroom with 1 queen bed and ample closet space Full bathroom with complimentary toiletries Open living/dining area with 55" smart TV television with ROKU, games, and books Fully stocked kitchen/pantry SECOND FLOOR: Loft-style bedroom with 2 queen beds and ample closet space 43" Smart television with ROKU Workspace / Game Table OUTSIDE: Backyard has a pergola and deck, a Solo Stove and 6 Adirondack chairs. Garage has CornHole and extra chairs. Driveway will hold up to 3 cars and/or a large boat or snowmobile trailer. Parking on street is also available. Outdoor grill (spring/summer/fall) All guests must complete a Guest Rental Agreement, ID verification, and Security Deposit in order to receive Arrival Instructions.
