It was a great location that allowed our family to come and go while skiing at Boyne.” ☆☆BEDROOMS☆☆ The condo offers two bedrooms. The first bedroom has a king sized bed and a queen sized bed. The second bedroom has two queen sized beds. Both bedrooms have televisions available. ☆☆BATHROOMS☆☆ There are two full bathrooms that both have a separate room for the bathtub/shower and toilet. This offers many places to get ready for the day or bed at night. ☆☆KITCHEN☆☆ The kitchen is open to the living room with barstool seating surrounding the countertop. You can cook a meal in the full kitchen that includes all the necessities while still being a part of the social activities of your group. Next to the kitchen, you will find a dining room table for another comfortable place to eat. This is also where you will find a washer and dryer for our guests to use. ☆☆LIVING ROOMS☆☆ The living room space is open to the kitchen and dining room space and is positioned for amazing lake views. Either watch the water or the television as you relax in the space. The sofa is a sleeper sofa for additional sleeping space. ☆☆ENTRANCES & OUTSIDE SPACE☆☆ There is one main entrance to the condo, but multiple sliding doors. The sliding doors are wonderful for picturesque views of the lake all year round. You can walk out the sliding glass doors and immediately into the lake. You could swim here or take a short walk to the sandy beach area in front of the Beach House Restaurant. At this beach, you could rent a kayak or SUP. If you prefer motorized watercraft, you could bring your boat and anchor it right in front of the condo. ☆☆ Dogs☆☆ We are thrilled to announce that our vacation home at Deer Lake Villas at Boyne Mountain is now officially a dog-friendly location! Your furry companions are welcome to join you for a relaxing getaway, but we kindly ask that you follow the rules set by the Homeowners Association (HOA) to ensure a peaceful and enjoyable experience for everyone. Dog Guidelines: Limit: A maximum of 2 dogs are allowed per stay. Behavior: Aggressive behavior will not be tolerated, in accordance with HOA policy. If you're a fan of a lakefront property that's just STEPS to a sandy beach, this one's for you. Our Golden Retriever, who is possessed with swimming, had the time of his life. While the lake is super shallow and takes forever to gradually get somewhat deep, the water is amazingly clear and perfect for kayaking. The condo, which is windowed with large sliding glass doors almost all around, was comfortable and clean. The kitchen is spacious and well appointed, although I wish the sliding glass doors in the kitchen would have been openable so we could ventilate when cooking. There is a patio table with chairs pictured on the website, but it wasn't there -- perhaps it was taken over to different unit's porch. We loved sitting in the white Adirondack chairs at the water's edge, which was so lovely and peaceful at sunset. We'd love to return! ![Deer Lake is gorgeous, while shallow. It’s a short drive to skiing and we woke up to a beautiful frozen lake view every morning with our coffee! The hosts checked in with us a few times to make sure things were great, we had enough of everything including toilet paper and shampoo and conditioner and there is a keurig and a coffee maker! Lake is very shallow at the beach. Restaurant is right there so families can walk to and also tiki hut. Petoskey, Boyne City, Charlevoix and Harbor Springs are all near by. For people not familiar with Michigan’s beautiful resort towns these are much sees. Love the Tiki bar and the friends we made. The beds were comfortable. But there was no TV for my husband to fall asleep to and to drown out the upstairs noise in the bedroom. So we pulled out the couch in the main room, although uncomfortable to sit in. It was even worse to lay in. I think it's had it's day. Otherwise, a wonderful stay. ##### Jeannine D. It was a really good vacation.The place and location is perfect if you have kids and/or dogs. The lake is steps from the condo backyard. the lake is shallow so your kids could spend all day in the water. The beach restaurant, golf course, tennis courts are in the walking distance.Boyne resort with more activities is 5 minutes away by car. Boyne city restaurants are 10 minutes drive.We had few small hiccups initially but the owner helped to resolve them quickly.
