Highly recommend the nearby hike along the SW shore of the island by the lighthouse. Communication with the hosts was quick and helpful. The only downsides were the hot tub wasn't on and there's no TV, if those are important to you (it's possible we could have turned on the hot tub, but we didn't need it and didn't ask). ##### Eric M. House was clean, beds were comfortable, almost everything you would need the house had available. Because of this house, we had the most amazing vacation at Vancouver. Also, Helen, host, was very communicative, there was no hot water on Saturday morning, but Helen made it happen and we were taken care of same day. I would just recommend you do your homework, especially with the ferry schedules as if you plan to visit other places, you need to go back to Vancouver and off again to another island, which means another ferry (no direct ferry to anywhere else other than back to horseshoe bay(Vancouver). It has everything you could need, very comfortable beds, and an incredible view that was enjoyed from a great deck. Helen was very responsive and helpful. We did miss having a tv in the evenings after our active days, so we were glad we’d brought along our own entertainment. No TV was listed on the online ad, so we came prepared. The only thing that’s a bit unexpected was that there are no screens on any of the windows. It’s not a big deal for many, but for those with allergies to certain insect bites, it might be important to know.
