### Charming 1BR Ground Floor Cottage Apartment

Peach House is comprised of an upstairs and downstairs apartment, both of which have a bright and sunny, open-plan living and dining area.  
  
Both apartments are fully air-conditioned and include free Wi-Fi Internet, TVs with Firestick streaming, well appointed kitchens and washer/dryers. This cottage is very centrally located at the top of the hill in Governors Harbour, and is part of the distinguished Governors Harbour Collection group of properties, on Eleuthera.  
  
The downstairs apartment at Peach House consists of an open-plan living and dining area, with French doors opening to a private patio equipped with sun loungers and a small outdoor table and chairs.  
  
The master bedroom features a king bed and has an en-suite bathroom, with walk-in shower.  
  
The kitchen is fully equipped, and appliances include a glass-topped electric range and oven, full-size refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, and blender. The apartment has access to an adjoining laundry room with a washer and dryer. A propane BBQ is shared between the upstairs and ground floor apartment.  
  
The apartment includes beach towels, beach chairs, a beach umbrella, and a cooler bag for beach days.  
  
For parents travelling with infants and young toddlers, the property managers can arrange for a traveler crib/pack n\` play and high chair for your convenience. For occasions when 3 persons are travelling, a single rollaway bed will be added to the living room space. This is ideal for small families with one child or teenager.  
  
Peach House can be rented along with other homes on the estate to accommodate larger groups.

The town of Governors Harbour, a three-minute walk down the hill, has a charming collection of 19th century homes and churches overlooking its historic harbor. Buy fresh fish and lobster every afternoon from fisherman at the town dock, or visit the recently restored Haynes Library, which dates from 1897. Governors Harbour has grocery stores, restaurants, liquor stores, two banks with ATMs, a bakery, gift shops, a dive shop, and a medical clinic. Friday Night Fish Fry in Governors Harbour, is a weekly street/beach party that brings together all the tourists and locals with food, drink, and dancing in the street until late!  
  
A stroll downhill from the estate in the other direction leads to French Leave Beach, one of the finest beaches on the island and one of the great beaches of the Caribbean. By foot, it’s about 8 minutes to French Leave, a mile-long crescent of pink sand which is literally deserted most of the time.  
  
The island of Eleuthera is famous for its 100 miles of spectacular, deserted beaches. The snorkeling, diving, and fishing on the island are world class. Boating, surfing, and other water sports are also popular. There is excellent sightseeing as well. Eleuthera has vast caves, cliffs, a bottomless ocean hole, many unique beaches, historic churches and 19th century homes, and small villages to explore.

My husband and I had a lovely stay at Peach House. It was perfect for the two of us. A relaxing, quiet, and spacious place. Although we did not cook, the kitchen was great for making coffee, and storing fruit and leftovers in the refrigerator. The place was clean and decorated nicely. Storage was ample as well. Never ran out of hot water and the pressure was good. Not sure if the power ever went out because there was a back up generator. (This happens on the island). The AC worked extremely well. We could turn it off during the day while we were out exploring, then come back, turn it on and cool quickly. Beach chairs, umbrella, towels, and cooler were provided. Easy to transport since the chairs were the backpack type. Location was great! We were able to walk to breakfast at Bacchus Fine Foods and Squires Cafe. (They serve lunch too). Plus we could walk to Buccaneer Club to eat breakfast, lunch, or dinner with ice cream next door. We also enjoyed walking down to the harbor to watch the sunsets. By car, you could quickly reach some other eateries in 5-15 minutes, The Fig Tree at Potlatch Club, Tippy's, La Bougainvillia, and The New Sunset Inn. Plus there was a very good grocery store in town. French Leave Beach was a quick 5 minutes drive. There were other beautiful beaches close by as well. Being central to the island allowed for exploring north or south very easily. Communication was excellent with the property managers. Highly recommend Peach House!

Great location near everything in Governors Harbor. Hosts Dom & Joy were very helpful and available. Great space for a couple and our dog. Nice area to dog walk and throw a ball. Drives to 2 best beaches -French Leave ( ocean side) and Alabaster( bay side) are convenient. Best restaurant is Fig Tree but $$$. Hope to return next year and stay longer.

#### Time to decompress

The property is located at the top of the hill putting it midway to town and the most beautiful French Leave Beach. Both are within walking distance. It is very peaceful there, no late night or early morning noise. We didn't rent a car but were close to groceries and restaurants so walking was easy.

Thisbplace was beautiful. In the heart of Governor harbour you had views of both oceans going up and down the street. You are close to everything and in the middle of the island to plan day trips to either side. Dom and Joy were fantastic helping us plan our visit. #### Great house and location in Gov. Harbor

The Peach House is in a great location-- we walked to Club Med Beach everyday and into town. The neighborhood is pretty quiet; the house has everything you need. Plenty of room for a couple. Joy and Dom were very good about checking in with us. We had one problem with the wifi and they were right on it. We would definitely stay here again!

#### Great stay for a couple

My girlfriend and I stayed at Peach House and absolutely loved it. Great location near the best beaches around the corner. Clean and functional space. Nice well appointed kitchen. Best of all was the great support from our hosts Joy and Dom.

#### Relaxing in paradise

This was our second stay at Governor's Harbour and in one of The Coleman's properties. From our arrival to the day we left everything was perfect. The house is so inviting with the numerous french doors to open and let in the beautiful breeze, lasagna and wine waiting on the counter, and of course Cathy welcoming us back!! I am almost tempted to keep this to myself. I already feel a little possessive of this beautiful retreat. It is honestly the only vacation I take where I can completely relax! We'll be back…..

#### EXQUISITE!

My wife and I just returned from a week on Eleuthera and had an Awesome time. The accommodations were spectacular, including your daily alarm of the roosters every morning. We were in the downstairs unit of the Peach House which was tastefully decorated. Upon our arrival Kathy came to introduce herself and let us know of all the places we should see and were to eat. She also provided lasagna, a bottle of wine and a few cold beers to enjoy our first day. Both Kathy & Bob were amazing host and the location couldn't be any better. A short walk down to Club Med Beach or French Leave Beach in one direction and down to the Daily Perk for coffee and fresh baked goods in the other. Kathy also had a fresh garden that you could pick herbs and veggies from for any meals that you may want to prepare. The other homes she has on the property are also tastefully done and we would definitely return and bring friends to stay in one of the homes. if you are there on a Friday night you have to attend the fish fry down in Governor's Harbour were the locals and tourist all gather and enjoy themselves with Food, Drinks, Music and Dancing. Overall as Kathy would say it was "LOVELY".
