Construite sur la plage et le plaisir de plonger face à la maison dans la mer des Caraïbes toute l’année 👍👍👍 Kaybays est une maison de plage exclusive, joliment décorée, avec une terrasse de salon donnant sur la baie. C’est une vraie maison de rêve, située dans l’endroit le plus calme de la plage de la baie Nettlé, l’endroit idéal pour séjourner à Martin. Pensez à des termes simples, à une atmosphère pour redécouvrir ces journées et nuits oubliées, l’évasion ultime. Il est également parfait pour les jeunes mariés, Kaybays appartient à un designer français qui a décoré cette passerelle privée. C'est l'une des meilleures maisons de plage de luxe de toute la résidence, loin de la route, avec un parking. C'est une zone très sûre et bien protégée du vent. Il est bien entretenu et entièrement meublé. L'emplacement est idéal, à proximité des commerces et des restaurants, à seulement cinq minutes de Marigot et du ferry pour Anguilla. The apartment was just as described..however I gave a lower score for check in as our apt wasn’t ready and we had to go somewhere else for three hours which after a long day of traveling you don’t want. The bed was very uncomfortable….if this was improved upon I’d give an across the board excellent rating plus bedding was minimal and could use a few extra pillows and a blanket. The property manager was very responsive. However, we did have water multiple times (5 in 11 days) for extended periods (4-8 hours. Also lost electricity once for half a day. Couldn’t flush toilets, shower or brush teeth. The pull out sofa would be ok for kids but the 4 inch mattress made the bed very uncomfortable for adults. Outside shower was a hose. Jean Yves and Mari Laure were amazing hosts! We arrived on Christmas Day after all the stores closed and Jean even gave us a few beers since it we couldn’t buy any, The apartment is exactly as pictured, super idealic! The pool was great although we didn’t use it as much as we though as we were too busy visiting all the nearby beaches. Although a store and a few great restaurants are within walking distance, a rental car is a must, we visited a different beach every day. The apartment has everything you could need to cook, the only thing missing was a measuring cup and spatula. As others have said, the beach isn’t super swimmable but we did swim a few times. Also as others have said, there is quite a bit of glass and broken dish-ware in the sand, but it’s all old and worn down, not sharp, and we had no concerns walking barefoot. we just loved hanging out on the patio listening and watching the ocean, it was so relaxing and you just can’t beat the view and proximity to the water! we can’t wait to come back! ##### Jen E. We enjoyed our week exploring St. Martin and Anguilla and always felt glad to return to our home base at Nettle Bay. The restaurants in this area were very good, but we especially loved Ma-Ti right next door which served delicious French cuisine at very reasonable.prices. The bakery across the street served the most luscious croissants and we would enjoy them with our eggs and bacon cooked right here in your well-stocked kitchen. Louise, the property manager, was so wonderful and answered many questions and was extremely helpful to us. One highlight of our trip was to visit Parotte Ville in Belvedere (near Philipsburg) to see all the exotic birds and hand feed them. A must see! The deck with comfortable chaise lounges was a favorite spot to relax each afternoon with a cocktail. The sound of the ocean lapping the shore was so wonderful. The pool only steps away.
