C.) with ca. 1000 m2 garden, wonderful sea view. The house is located in the historic center of Portovenere, just below the church of San Lorenzo (bell tower still in use today) and at the foot of the Castle and has an area of about 110 square meters. To access the house you have to climb the steep staircase of the village (120 steps), for this reason it is not a place suitable for the disabled, the elderly and those who have difficulty walking. As other reviewers have mentioned, there are many stairs to the property, pack accordingly. The renovations they've done on this property so far are really nice. The older portions of the rental reflect the price point. The furniture, kitchen appliances, and cups etc are all a bit cobbled together and could use an upgrade but that will probably come as the renovations are completed and the price is raised. La maison elle-même, bien que décorée avec goût, est assez mal entretenue (moustiquaires hors service, plus de pergola sur la terrasse, canapé de jardin troué).
