A éviter. Propreté passable. Service insuffisant.
Réservation faite pour un tiers avec l'option "Paiement à l'arrivée".... 3 jours avant, la totalité du séjour est débité sur ma carte. Appel à l'hôtel, pas d'excuses ni autres, c'est leur politique, ils ont confirmé pouvoir débiter ce qu'ils veulent, quand ils veulent !!! Réservation d'un traitement spa spécifique, 3 semaines avant. La veille au soir, annulation de leur part, personne pour faire le soin. Pas de remboursement possible, on vous fait un avoir .... idem, ils vous sonnent avec aplomb que ce "n'est pas leur politique de faire des remboursements, mais de faire des avoirs". OK. Et si on habite à l'étranger et que l'on est que de passage, on s'assoit dessus ? Et ben oui, vous n'avez que revenir, l'avoir est valable 3 mois !!! Les chambres sont spacieuses et confortables, mais la propreté n'est pas leur fort, y compris la vaisselle mise à disposition, comme au restaurant, n'est pas très propre. Un rideaux sur les trois était dégrafés de la tringle, cela ne se fait pas quand on revendique un classement 4*. L’accueil en général est froid, et on sent un malaise chez certains employés à expliquer qu'elle est la "politique maison". Vraisemblablement un hôtel très tourné chiffre d'affaire plus que confort client. Je recommande donc de l'éviter, tout comme les autres hôtels de la chaîne Hallmark, qui m'a par ailleurs confirmé que cet établissement ne fait qu'appliquer les "règles Groupe".

Emplacement calme à 10 mn de la plage
Les 4 étoiles sont surprenantes, peut-être est-ce le fait d'avoir un spa - correct sans plus - avec un jacuzzi et une piscine couverte qui offrent une étoile supplémentaire à cet hôtel d'un niveau 3 étoiles. La chambre mériterait une rénovation, tout est assez ancien, mais plutôt propre. A noter que le ventilateur au plafond ne fonctionnait pas (attention, pas de climatisation), tout comme l'ascenseur, tombé en panne 3x en 6 jours. Le personnel a été agréable tout au long du séjour. Le petit-déjeuner est complet, mais reste également assez simple. En résumé, séjour agréable dans un hôtel qui mériterait d'être remis au goût du jour. Petit conseil culinaire: le restaurant indien "Mint Leaf" qui se trouve à 5 mn de l'hôtel à pied au lieu dit "The Triangle".

The best thing about our stay was the fabulous members of staff. They were all very approachable and couldn't d enough to help. You could tell they were all happy to be working there and worked as a great team. Fantastic stay.

I should have investigated better before booking - it may have affected my choice had i been aware of the charges for use of parking and the spa. The room itself was comfortable enough however it was unbearably hot , even the water did not run cold. I was less than impressed by the receptionist whose answer when queried was that all hotels in bournemouth are like that being old buildings. I have syayed in several hotels in bournemouth so i am aware that is not the case atall.

This was a good stay! The staff members were very lovely and very welcoming and our hotel was very good. However the rooms we slept in was very hot, and the spa pools were very small so wasn’t “impressed” as such but everything else was lovely. Our favourite was the crystal cave room and steam room. The facial massage I got was good however the products by ELEMIS did not last for a very long time at all. It did go away within 2 hours (and I did not have makeup on my face). Overral the hotel experience was good!

Excellent for Family Weekend
We had a great stay at West Cliff for a weekend with the family. Very kind and helpful staff in reception and spa, and the kids really enjoyed the swimming pool.

The Evening meal was excellent and presentation could not be faulted, served straight from the kitchen 100% hot, none of the “ hot holding “ game played here . The waitress was excellent and polite, she took our order ( for four starters and mains inalll 8 different dishes ) and got them 100% correct without writing them down or using a IPad or ther IT .Think you must have photographic memory

We booked the superior room which was renovated a d had air conditioning. Nice, large and spacious. Spa was good but there was a charge. Plenty of free parking next to the hotel or £12 per 24 hours.

In my opinion this hotel is not value for money car parking is £15.00 per 24 hours room is quite small and bar snacks limited but the hotel is clean and tidy. Check in was slow and long queues not enough staff at check in. Would not give it 4 stars pool looked nice.

Our room was not ready, inspite of we checked in late by 4 hours toilet was not clean i did inform them we will come late, there was pooh marks in the toilet bowl and particles, bath tub was not clean, they agreed to change the room, next room toilet flush not working , then 3rd room smaller room was tv channel were not tuned we were so tired it was 2200 hrs. we got the room, It was my Mrs. 42nd birthday i kept calm.. My wife so upset she said please clean the first room we use the same room, we had extended a day directly we did not want spoil our mood we kept calm, I m sure If it was any other family any other family would have ask for refund. The who present were very helpful duty manager at that time cleaned the toilet herself.. who ever did the cleaning did a bad job, toilet is sealed after cleaning. the property good cleaning they should pay attention. The rest days were okay, they gave two complimentary drinks maybe because incident . I m still surprised, if it was not my wife birthday we would have taken full refund moved out same night plus asked compensation. The staff at that moment managed the situation.

I wasn’t able to stay as I had Covid, so I asked the hotel to issue a voucher to change the dates and they refused as I had booked a non refundable room. No flexibility or empathy considering I could have still stayed (no legal requirement to isolate) and passed Covid to all the staff that I came into contact with. Being a better person I hoped the hotel would show some flexibility. They did not.

The hotel was easy to find and parking was easy enough. I found plenty of free parking spaces right outside the hotel so did not pay for the car park which is around £12 a day. I imagine during peak times parking will be hard. The hotel check in was easy and no cues. The front of house staff were welcoming and helpful. The hotel was very clean. The room has lots of space. Could not hear any traffic outside but could hear some noises from near by rooms or corridors. The pool was great and clean. Bar and restaurant reasonably priced. The only thing that really annoyed me was when you come back to the hotel you have to press a night bell for entry. One of the nights it took me nearly 1 hour to get in at 2am when I wasn't already feel great. I pressed the buzzer no joke 25 plus times. Banged on the windows countless times. Even phones the hotel 5 times with no answer and walked around the whole hotel looking for an open door. This was extremely upsetting. The night staff should be at or near the door entrance if they are going to lock it. The night staff said they were working in a suite getting ready for an event and the buzzer wasn't going through to his phone so that why it took so long. It was a cold day and if I had kids with me I would of gone mad. This is the reason I wouldn't stay here again. They need to add a door code or change the way to get into your hotel you have paid for and not have to worry what time. However being 4 I'll still give it 4 stars overall

We stayed on the top floor, in a family room. And it was hot, really hot. Made it very uncomfortable. The bath pub panel was coming away as well. The staff are so friendly, and give great service. Quite disappointed the pool was closed

Lovely hotel
Had a lovely stsy here with my friend. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Very close to the town centre within walking distance. The spa was really lovely and relaxing. Hotel food and bar was very reasonable priced. Would definetly stay here again.

Absolutely amazing stay at the hotel, from start to finish we had a wonderful relaxing break. The breakfast was great, with a lot of variety, facilities were really nice, and overall we had a lovely few days there. Will be definitely looking at returning in the future

Good hotel and lovely spa
Spa was lovely and really reasonable priced for residents. Room was great, really spacious and clean. Bed was too hard but I suppose it depends on your preference. Be aware its £12 per day parking, which is resonable for the location but might be unexpected. Cafe round the corner is amazing for breakfast and Goat and Tricycle is awesome for a pint, both a short walk and make a nice change from a hotel breakfast or bar.

Used the hotel many times with no issues but unfortunately this time I stayed in room 3 This room had a huge air conditioner beneath it and it made a awful noise all night even with the windows closed resulting in zero sleep all night ! I did do to reception around 1am only to find nobody there , I did also let the receptionist know in the morning But got the impression that they didn’t care to much that it ruined my stay Thankfully lots of other hotels in Bournemouth to choose from next time
