We knew the hosts would let us know if they needed to come down to use the fridge or washer/dryer, but we still felt a bit uneasy as they have complete access. It was also quite warm, even with the portable A/C unit. The cleanliness was okay; there was quite a bit of cat hair and longer female hair in the bedding and carpet, though it could have been worse. It is evident it has been used for years compared to the advertised pictures and needs some updates or a deep clean. The host’s restaurant recommendations were fantastic. Postino’s, Snooze, and Sweet Cow are musts! Overall, the price felt pretty high for what it was—you’re really paying for the location. We’d definitely be back to Boulder, as it was a really neat place but we personally would stay somewhere more private and cleaner. ##### Justin R. Very spacious setting, many times larger than the average hotel room. I brought my smoker and we were able to cook an entire Thanksgiving spread with the appliances provided plus the smoker. The weather was beautiful the whole time and the football game was fun. Richard met us when we arrived to let us in so we did not have to juggle our luggage while retrieving the key from the lock box. This rental is in the basement making it dark and easy to sleep (No porch lights or street lights gleaming through the windows). We did not cook or warm food as it was so close to Pearl Street that we walked only a couple of minutes to a vast array of dining. However, if we had there were plenty of ways to do so. It would have been nice to have ice in the ice maker for our water bottles. The bed and bath linens are nice quality. It was neat and clean. We did hear noise from above, but that is to be expected as this is their personal home and they are living their lives. We were greeted by their beautiful kitty looking out the front door as we walked past to get to our unit a couple of times. We would stay here again as there was absolutely nothing that we were dissatisfied with. Communication with host is quick. Check in and check out was easy. Parking was right out front on street.
