Excellent et bien situé
Très agréable quoique un peu bruyant si votre chambre donne sur la rue. Auberge d'époque, très propre et le déjeuner est convivial et très bon.

Ordinaire mais bien situé
Un hôtel très ordinaire. Petite chambre de style vieillot, dans un immeuble à un coin de rue du bâtiment principal. La chambre au premier étage avait un accès privé à l'arrière, avec vue sur le stationnement, le moteur de la ventilation sous le balcon était très bruyant. Le personnel très froid, sans sourire, expéditif, n'avaient pas l'air d'aimer leur travail du tout. L'emplacement très bien tous les attraits touristiques et restos sont à distance de marche!

Charmant et confortable
Charmant et très typique. Beaucoup de petites attentions ( bonbons, savons etc). Lits confortables, salon commun charmant. Tout était très propre. Le personnel est gentil et avenant. En plein coeur du quartier historique ce qui permet de découvrir Salem à pied. Nous avons vraiment apprécié cet hôtel.

surprise: la photo de l'hotel induit en erreur pcq, sur les lieux, on nous a dirigés vers une deuxième maison dans une rue voisine! lorsqu'il pleut, pas très commode pour le petit déjeuner.....

Un hôtel bien situé où on visite la ville à pied. Nous avions un demi étage pour nous avec petite cuisinette. Les lits sont confortables et les petits déjeuners sont très bien.

Our stay at the Salem Inn was absolutely wonderful! we stayed for 3 days/2 nights and everything was so convenient. The contactless check in was awesome - much easier than big name hotels I have stayed with. We easily received an email with both the front door code and the code to our room and never had issues with either. The staff was in touch often via text to check if we needed anything or if we would be having breakfast there. Hands down, a great, historic inn with a super convenient location. Easy to walk around downtown and right across from the Witch House! We'll be back for sure!

Convenient location. Easy check in. Loved the finches in the lobby. We looked forward to hearing them each time we walked in. Easy communication with the front via text. Respectful and helpful employees. Breakfast menu is extremely limited but I still enjoyed each thing I got and I’m a very picky eater.

I thought this place would be exceptional because of the listed reviews. It was only average. No elevators, and we were on the third floor and had to use a "dumb waitor" for our luggage. One person at the desk and no one to check to see if we could get a lower floor. All check in and out done by cellphone. Breakfast was a plus. Had to make a res for that. Room was clean but old. Could not control the heat. It is conveniently located to downtown, but I would no stay here again. Parking on the street non existent. Had to park a block and a half away.

Came to the property and it completely blew my mind! It surpassed all my expectations! Beautiful and spacious room. Staff are incredibly friendly. Location is unbeatable. Steps away from all the Salem points of interest. Looking forward to coming back to the hotel.

It is always such a pleasure to stay at Salem Inn. My daughters and I have such special memories of our times there. I brought one of them several years ago (in the summer), and this time brought the youngest (in the winter). Both stays were wonderful. The staff is so helpful and friendly, the breakfasts are great, and we love how easy it is to walk everywhere we want to go - with parking included and nearby, we can just park the car and forget about it until we check out. I will stay at Salem Inn whenever I have a chance to get to Salem.

We visited in December for a wedding. We would choose this place every time we would be in Salem. Fantastic staff, fantastic property, fantastic location for a great price! Highly recommend!

The smoking area is a little garden. Its pretty but they have a parking space diectly in front of it and you have to walk the bricks at the edge of the flower bed. My friend and i each fell a different timestrying to get in or out. There are no guest bathrooms on the first floor and no elevators so getting to your room on the third floor can be difficult. The staff is not very accommidating either. There is no staff at this location. We stayed at Curwin House.

We loved our stay at the Salem Inn! It’s clean and absolutely beautiful. Close to everything!! They offer a yummy breakfast each day and even wine tasting nights. We will definitely be back!!

Many guests have preferred it, but if any guests want to check-in the old way, we have a full-staffed front desk where people can check-in in person. There is no question Salem is a small city and there is street noise. If this is a problem, guests can call and request a back room. Thank you, James, for the five-star rating! We understand parking is tricky in Salem. Salem has more visitors during the busy season than the city has parking spaces. At the Inn we are lucky to have a spot for every guest, whether it is behind the Peabody House, behind the Curwen House, or in a city lot that has spaces reserved for our guests. There can be a short walk from your space to the house you are staying in, but we do have drop-off spots for your luggage at each house. Again, we apologize if it was a hassle. We're so glad we chose this hotel, it was conveniently located in the center of Salem and overall had a great experience. The room was quiet and clean, staff was helpful and kind, and the breakfast in the garden each day was delightful. I'm already daydreaming of when we can return and we checked out yesterday.
