Savin Hill is a vibrant mix of young professionals and artists, close enough to downtown to make getting around Boston a breeze, but with enough happening in your immediate environs that you don’t need to go far to discover why our neighborhood is truly a hidden gem. We will provide detailed information and guides on the surrounding area to enhance your overall experience. Getting Around: The Savin Hill subway station is within walking distance. From Savin Hill, the Red Line will take you directly into the heart of Boston in minutes. The nearest Hubway bicycle rental location is less than a five minute walk away. There are also several private transportation options at your disposal (Uber/Lyft, Zipcar). If you do plan on driving, our street offers free on-street parking. The area was residential so you don't have the typical "city" noises all night long. The host was very responsive when dealing with a few minor things. We were able to walk to the T which then got us anywhere we wanted to go. There is a slight hill when you return to the unit from the T. We especially liked having the half bath. It was nice to have the additional toilet and sink. The rooms were great and the beds were comfortable. We cooked dinner one night and had breakfast every morning. There is a coffee pot and coffee in the unit. The building does have three units and this one is on the 2nd floor. We had some noisy neighbors above us and the host was very responsive when we messaged about the level of noise. This unit is great and you can't beat the location if you want to be in the city without all of the noise. ##### Christine M. Always hard to find a property that has separate beds for two teens - this has that and the bonus was they even had their own rooms! Clean appartment with easy street parking. good local resturants nearby. Easy to get to each of the 4 colleges we visited. Mgt was incredibly responsive and ensured we had what we needed.
