The view is gorgeous! This is a great place to relax and unwind. It’s a short walk to the beach, which is beautiful. Liz is the best host. She made sure we had everything we needed. The views were absolutely breathtaking waking up each morning to the sight and sound of the ocean was the perfect escape from the city after a busy day exploring downtown Boston.Getting to and from the property was a breeze, with easy drives both north and south to nearby attractions. The ferry into Boston made for a fun and convenient way to experience the city without the hassle of driving.The home itself was a true gem—comfortable, well-appointed, and perfectly situated just a quick walk to the end of the street to the gorgeous beach. We especially appreciated the property manager, who went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. From the warm welcome and informative tour to checking in throughout our visit, they made sure we felt completely at home.With an excellent bar/restaurant within walking distance and the unique beauty of the Nahant peninsula right at your doorstep, this location offers the best of coastal Nahant. We aren’t city folks so when I saw this cottage on a little island in a neighborhood I knew I had to book it. The property manager Liz was absolutely amazing and had everything we needed in the house. The house was very clean and cozy. There was a beach very close by which our children loved. The host lives directly below the unit, which wasn’t disclosed, and her presence felt more intrusive than welcoming. Upon arrival, she walked us through a list of dos and don’ts, including using a plastic bin to rinse our feet before using the poorly draining shower, not opening marked windows, & limiting laundry to small items due to a 7-hour cycle on the combo washer/dryer.The apartment had several maintenance issues: a torn ottoman, broken lamp, rubber-banded smoke detector, patched ceiling tiles,2 broken bed frames, hard beds & a ripped screen door. Limited toiletries were provided despite the listing saying otherwise & only four towels were given for 4 guests over 5 nights. When I asked for more, she delivered a trash bag of gray towels that looked like our dirty ones. After a quiet comment to my husband questioning if they were even washed, we heard doors slam below—confirming our suspicion that we were being overheard.The TV wasn’t smart or streamable despite listing Wi-Fi and cable. She admitted she didn’t know how to work it. We left the unit spotless & documented everything.
