Very quiet and friendly neighborhood. Close to Boston and minutes away from downtown Melrose which offers lots of great local restaurants, stores, cafes. The apartment is 20 minutes walk to Oak Grove Subway Station (Orange Line). Roughly 20-25 minutes drive to downtown Boston. The upstairs tenants are a young family with small kids and you hear every footstep above you. The furniture is nice looking but a bit light weight. Kitchen was well equipped minus paper goods like paper towels and also toilet paper. Be prepared to run to the store- only minutes away. Back deck is amazing but underfurnished for living space.
