The basement apartment unit has what we needed and was comfortable for our visit. The unit is located in a quiet residential area but local services (meals, groceries etc) are all available within an easy walk. Bus service to downtown Boston is frequent, cheap and only a couple of blocks away. Nice trails and beaches are also only a few blocks away and perfect for morning or evening walks/jogs. Queen bed was very comfortable and A/C worked great. Minor comments: you will experience some noise from unit above (footsteps, louder noises tv etc) but this did not bother us. The tv did not work but this seems to be a broader internet issue in the immediate area that is known and needs to be addressed. The rental was everything it needed to be. It was clean and the owners were very responsive to any questions. It is located just blocks from the South Boston Harbor Walk and bus routes into Boston.
