With convenient access to public transportation and limited free parking, you can get around the city with ease. After a day of exploring Boston, retreat to the tranquility of Somerville and make dinner at home or enjoy the neighborhood restaurants. If you\`re visiting the nearby universities, it\`s only a mile from Tufts, 2.5 miles to Harvard and 3 miles to MIT. This beautifully renovated 3 bedroom, 3 bath ground floor condo can sleep 6 and was designed to be a relaxing and convenient place to call home after busy days exploring Boston. You can hop on public transportation to get around the city, enjoy Somerville\`s restaurants, cafe and shopping scene, including bustling Davis Square and trendy Union Square or visit nearby universities from our condo as your home base. The best of Boston and Somerville is at your fingertips! Perfect for families and groups. We also offer this unit in conjunction with our 2 bedroom unit, if you want more space to spread out! This is our primary residence and the downstairs bedroom is ours when we are there. We\`re happy to help with suggestions, but we will never be overbearing. You have full and private access to the condo, with the exception of one locked bedroom, as this unit is my primary residence. There are two other rental units in this building, but your condo has a private entrance with no shared space. An Uber or Lyft to the city is cheap and super quick (10-15 minutes depending on Boston traffic, of course). We are close to public transportation, which is also a quick ride into the city. Please remember this is our home so treat it like you would a friend\`s home and we will do our best to make you feel like you\`re a friend staying with us! We have installed exterior only security cameras for the safety of both guest and property. These cameras are actively recording both audio and video outside all entrances and side doors. Any tampering with cameras, including, but not limited to covering and otherwise disabling of these cameras are grounds for early termination of reservation with no refunds whatsoever. Please note that any refunds made in accordance with our cancellation policy will be less any credit card fees. While we strive to minimize guest disturbances, we regularly maintain our home and may conduct lawn care during reservations, particularly on weekdays or during longer stays. No smoking (cigarettes or anything else...) indoors or too close to windows. This one seems obvious, but we want to be sure we are clear. If we smell smoke in the house we will request your security deposit. We do not accept any guests to book under the age of 21. Please note your cleaning fee covers a basic turnover, not excessive trash or dirt. Anything excessive will result in an additional cleaning fee being assessed. We feel that the blame is being placed on us for not communicating that the a/c was off when we arrived, however, we turned it on and it was fine, at least until the next day...so there was no reason to tell them at the time. There was no problems that evening, it was just turned off, therefore the house was very warm and we did not arrive until after 7pm in the evening. We should not arrive at our rental to an 89 degree house when the temp outside is well over 90 degrees. The owners use an app to control it, therefore, they should have been well aware it was turned off. Also, it should be publicized there is an eye-level window in the master shower. Any woman tall enough would be giving a free peep show. There is no frost or privacy glass. There is an auto repair business directly outside on that side of the house and we experienced overnight construction, also on that side of the house as there is a major road there as well, which was another frustrating experience, especially given the window in the shower.The house was beautiful and the right amount of space for us. The owners were responsive when we realized late in the afternoon of day two that there was an a/c issue and in an attempt to resolve our disappointment, offered a refund of (1) night's rent. ##### Thomas S. There were 6 of us in town for a wedding. There was more than enough space. The house was very clean and basic amenities were there- toilet paper, paper towels, soap, shampoo and conditioner. Weather wasn’t good but one day, but that’s Mother Nature. Would differently stay at this house again. My family and I stayed at this home for my Boston marathon race and it was perfect! The host was incredibly prompt in responding to any of my questions and provided more than enough detail on the home itself and places to see in the surrounding area. The home was very clean, modern, and complete with all appliances, soaps, etc one could need. It was a nice getaway from the busyness of the city that weekend. The house is beautiful, and was clean. It worked perfect for our group having multiple bathrooms along with plenty of bedrooms. The area was nice, and was an easy trip into downtown Boston. This location was great for walking to several breakfast locations and the train.Due to construction on main road made it a little harder to get to the grocery store. The living room and upstairs bedrooms were comfortable. The downstairs bedroom, extra room with trundle, and bathroom is a little small. We enjoyed the close proximity tot he bus stop to access public transportation to attractions. It was a short bus ride and train ride to get to the center of the city or start of the freedom trail. The home is comfortable, clean and well decorated. We loved the location. Only a short drive into downtown but away from traffic. We loved walking across the street to the river and the trail there. Red Sox: Weekend at Fenway Park The property was excellent. The owners make a point with providing comfort (beds, couches, etc.), which is a gamble for traveler seeking rentals.
