« We really enjoyed our first visit to Shalimere! The home is very relaxing with gorgeous views of the ocean. We spent a lot of time relaxing on the deck and the hot tub is situated in a wonderful location where you can take in the amazing views. Took a nice walk on Irish beach and it was very clean and such a quiet and beautiful scenic private beach. The home is very dog friendly and our senior dog was comfy and happy. There aren’t many restaurant options in Point Arena and they close early but...

« The property was more remote than we anticipated. If you are looking for a true getaway, this is your spot. The local Elk grocery & mercantile store clerks were wonderful and full of ideas to fill our time. We took a trip to Mendocino and Fort Bragg along the beautiful coast. « We spent 3 nights. Long time girlfriends meeting up with our sons to just enjoy the beauty of the Sea Ranch. The house was just what we expected and the views were just as advertised. The house is nestled on the hillside with beautiful views. We also enjoyed the wildlife. Deer grazing casually and the resident turkeys that hung around. They didn’t seemed bothered by us at all and we loved watching them. We also enjoyed the coziness of the fireplace after returning home from all the amazing hikes...

« We spent four nights in this great home. It's in a nice location on a very quiet cul-de-sac. Close to day hiking trails and Gualala for restaurants. Home was very well equiped - we cooked several meals without finding any missing household items. Hot tub works great...which is sometimes a rarity in rental homes. The faucet in the shower needs replaced & the sink is rickety in the bathroom. There were ant bait traps all over the home, and we saw a few ants. The main concern is the entrance to the home. « Location is the highlight of this Gualala studio. The stairs faded quickly into the spectacular views. This is a special retreat from the ordinary. Miren is a fantastic host, her knowledge of the area, attention to detail & warm hospitality all a highlight of our stay. We spent 3 nights & explored nearby, but the Anchor Bay beach below this studio makes this location a place of pure contentment, no need to roam. We hope to return. »
