Great communication, gracious and hospitable. Beautiful 1800's interior with all needed updates and comforts of today. Well stocked / equipped kitchen. Quaint decor emphasizing train themed history of the town and the home. In town for to ride Santa Express and Allison went above and beyond with tasteful holiday decor and gifts for the toddlers. We loved the special touches like the multiple options for coffee, tea and cocoa. They also provided snacks and breakfast choices of oatmeal and pancakes. It was a convenient location for visiting with family in Boone. The house is very clean and charming. Our grandchildren loved all the details added for kids and counting all of the trains throughout every room. We used the front porch often. There was plenty of seating for all of us to visit, play board games, and watch cars go by. We enjoyed the breakfast choices left for us in the kitchen, and the beds were very comfortable. We came into town for Rail Explorers which was a blast! The decor was exquisite, the house was spotless, the host was awesome. It was easy to get to and easy to get in. We absolutely loved the house, location, ambiance and wonderful communication of the owner. There was just 2 of us but plenty of room for at least 8-10 people. The house was exceptionally clean and the beds were very comfortable. It was exactly as advertised. Within walking distance to all the shops as recommended by the owner. we visited a tea shop and massage place and the ladies there were so kind. We plan to return for more time with our families. All the history with modern touches. The beds were very comfortable and we slept very well. You're literally blocks from adorable gift shops for the entire family to history galore. We felt safe in Boone the entire time, reminded me of an area close to where I grew up in ND. Little touches within the home were caredully curated to make your stay as enjoyable as possible (down to My Pillow pillows!). I could go on and on.
