The bathroom is smaller but clean. The living area is fine and the fireplace is a cool touch. The balcony view is not much. The loft had a bed and a futon that was suited just fine for kids. Staff was very nice. The people are very nice. Our hotel room felt like a cabin. Refrigerator, microwave, television, whirlpool bath, hot water, everything worked. The towels and wash rags were a little flimsy, and the floor might have been vacuumed a teeny bit better, but for the rustic feel, everything was very nice. This place was straight out of the 1970's, you even fill out a Guest Registration CARD, yes, that's right, an actual card that you write on with a pen. I haven't done that in tbe US for over 30 years. :) This place is super retro, a blast from the past, the staff was super friendly and the bed was comfy, the place could have been cleaner but it was okay. While a nice place in the area, it is very old and in need of major overhauls. The bathroom sink leaked and the floor was buckled, the shower head was jet powered and when you bumped it, it sprayed water out of the fittings. The overall decor was dated well into last century . The smell of marijuana was strong coming down from other guests.
