Our beautiful Bonita Beach community continues to recover from recent hurricanes, and while some areas of the complex are still being refreshed, the beaches are once again stunning and easily accessible just across the street. The Gulf sparkles, the sunsets are spectacular, and the relaxed coastal atmosphere is very much alive. Some restoration work is ongoing in the buildings, grounds and atriums, so occasional daytime construction noise is possible. Tennis courts remain closed at this time, though two temporary pickleball courts are available for guests. The Space: This 7th floor Beach and Tennis studio is located in the highly desirable Building 1, which is the closet walk to the beach, via the protected beach access crossing. The view from the balcony looks over the Gulf and toward Barefoot beach to the south - you really will remember it long after your vacation ends! Start your day out with coffee on the private lanai or with a morning stroll to the beach. Finish off your long beach day with a cocktail at Docs next door and a view of the gorgeous Gulf sunset. Nestled between the Gulf of Mexico and the Imperial River, the Beach & Tennis condo community is comprised of (5) 10-story towers overlooking the Gulf, across the street from Bonita Beach Park, with premium beach access and active lifestyle offerings. You will enjoy 500 square feet of studio space, sleeping 2 guests; the kitchen and bathroom have been remodeled with beautiful stone counters, and tile flooring throughout. The living area has a sofa and chair, large flat screen TV with cable package and sliding glass doors open to the sun-filled, 7th floor balcony with a beautiful view The bedroom area is open to the living space and enjoys a view of the TV from the bed - which includes a king bed; bed and bath linens are included, and a large open closet with dresser is available for your belongings. The bathroom features a bathtub/shower combination. The kitchen comes equipped full size refrigerator/freezer, stove, microwave, dishwasher, dishes, glasses, silverware, basic small appliances and dining table for 4. Pool not open and some of the property is still under construction.As beach parking is very limited, the location is wonderful being right across the street from the beach and a restaurant that has seating indoors and on the beach and offers takeout food/drinks to have on the beach. The lanai has a nice view of the Gulf. As noted by others, the furnishings and decor are just ok; Although the place was clean, I did note a musty smell when entering the apartment. The drapes on small window made it very dark and when I took them down, since we would be there 3 weeks, I noticed they had mold on them. Furniture is old, damaged and mismatched. Sofa and chair very uncomfortable. Too many lamps. Lots of owner stuff on shelves in bedroom. Beach chairs were rusted and poor shape. Also, the pool never opened. The unit was clean and is very functional. Also, the location to beach and stores is great. Exterior of building looks like a constuction site.
