It was perfect for our family of 4 (two teen boys) and dog. The weather was rainy and cold for a couple of days, but the house was cozy. The hot tub was great. And also the access the Manchester was a complete surprise to us. We didn't really know where we were going and we were pleasantly surprised to find a quaint town with shops and restaurants. The book store in town was amazing. We did lots of hiking and fishing. It was a 10/10 and I don't think we could have asked for more. ##### Ida B. So glad we looked into it! The beds were all quite cozy, the baths recently renovated, the house smells like a wood cabin in the mountains- it was great! The basement where the ping pong table was located smelled quite musty, but to be expected in a basement. Also, the grill outside definitely needs to be replaced- so use with extreme caution as the entire bottom of it was burned through and non existent. It offered a cozy family getaway to enjoy the southern Vermont scene that we have grown to love so very much. Surrounded by a lush green forest, the house was well-appointed and had everything we could have wanted. The beds were very comfortable and we thought the bathrooms were as high-end as any 5-star hotel. It had a rustic charm as well as a nice kitchen, and good internet too. Wonderful stay! ##### Barb B. Stunning great room that was well used by our group. Convenient location close to Bromley, Stratton, and Manchester.Sleeping arrangements are really for 6 comfortably, two more using a pull out sofa. Game room has an air mattress but only one way to egress so we didn't feel comfortable to use.Property is generally clean and we'll appointed but could use a touch of TLC (some burned out lamps, scary wobbly bookshelf, games missing pieces, ping pong table is well used etc)Host was responsive to a few issues we raised, though would've preferred not to have to raise them! ##### Derek B. However, we were a group of nine and the house does not have sleeping space for nine. The site claims there are 2 twin beds which were not there. Also, the ad draws attention to the hot tub on the property. It was obvious that the owner did not want anyone to use it because there were no directions left and upon opening it we found it dirty and smelled chemically off balance. ##### April R.
