Bright living area with a sofa bed and a classic kitchen with an induction cooker, a coffee machine, a kettle and a microwave. Large windowed bathroom with shower. Julia’s appartment is located right in the heart of Bologna’s city center, which means that you have to walk a little bit from wherever your taxi drops you off. However, the building has an elevator, so there is no hassle to lug your bags upstairs. The apartment is nice and cozy, master bedroom is spacious and its bed is comfortable. There is central AC for all rooms and living area. Kitchen is also nice if a bit tight to the wall. However, it has everything you need to cook a simple meal. It also has a dishwasher. Julia is a very nice host. It is a charming apartment and pleasant (short) walk to many of Bologna’s attractions, restaurants, bars, shopping, etc. As other guests have noted, because the apartment is in the heart of the Quadrilatero and above lively restaurants, there is a lot of noise at night and in the mornings so I would highly recommend earplugs if you’re a light sleeper. Thanks to Julia for her patient and timely directions as we had some difficulty finding the location of the apartment when we first arrived at night. ##### Libby P. Elevator access was very convenient. The smells of Bologna (the food!) were amazing.The only negatives were the sounds of the restaurants below. The patrons were happy and enjoyed themselves late into the night. Also -- on Saturdays, finding a taxi service with our suitcases and wheelchair was difficult since all streets in the area closed off for foot traffic that day. ##### Deana M.
