Camel's Back Park is an 11-acre urban park in Boise, Idaho, managed by the Boise Parks and Recreation Department. The park includes picnic tables, play areas, an outdoor gym, practice fields, and facilities for tennis and volleyball and is home to the Hyde Park Street Fair filled with local vendors, live music and food trucks. A “sub” urban retail area of the age of Hyde Park is unusual for any community. It rivals such famous areas like the Niles District in Oakland for its character and quality. Here you will find Java, Goodie's Candy Shop, 13th Street Pub, and North End Pizza to just name a few eateries along with treasured boutiques. This unit is also only 5 minutes from Bogus Basin road. Drive up 30 minutes to Bogus Basin to ski in the winter or bike and hike in the summer. Guests have access to the entire unit as well as on-site free laundry in the back of the building. There is a $100 pet fee per stay to be paid after the reservation in the guest portal, or a small pet deposit for mid-term/longer stays. \-No parties, events, or other gatherings without prior approval \-No smoking anywhere on the property. Comfortable, nicely situated close to things we did and enjoyed, easy check-in/out. The updated remodel is classy and well thought out. Great place to stay!! 2 things that rubbed the wrong way: the cleaning fee for such a small space was out of alignment from other places I’ve stayed. That said, most of the cleaning was well done, except for all the dog hair that was left behind. Tufts if white hair around the edges of the living room and couch, much of which stuck to my socks. The second item was the on-going construction in the basement and bungalow behind our space. A heads-up would have been good rather than finding out from the sounds of power tools around 8 o’clock each morning. Overall, a 4.5 out of 5\. Laundry facilities were an added plus since we stayed for a bit over a week. Internet had a few issues three mornings but was able to connect through my own phone and internet service returned in the afternoon. A few outlets were not working perhaps due to age of building or nearby construction but we had plenty of outlets to choose from to find working ones.
