Prachovske rocks, Bohemian Paradise, Czech republic 

Prachovske skály (=rocks) are the most famous rock town in Czech republic. It was born as a sandstone sediment of a prehistoric ocean some 100 Milion years ago. It was formed by the water, wind, frost, rain and it created numerous rock towers which were in 1933 certified as a nature park reservation. It is situated ca. 100 km northeast from Prague near the town of Jičín. 

The view is from the viewpoint Vyhlídka Českého ráje (=Bohemian Paradise) towards the main valley of the area. « Belle découverte que ce charmant hôtel au centre de cette belle ville de Jicin, qui gagne à être connue puisque qu’elle n’est même pas dans le guide du routard. Cette ville se trouve à un jet de pierre de la formidable promenade des Prachovske Skaly, on peut donc vider la voiture à l’hôtel avant de partir en randonnée. Le restaurant est tres bons, le service au top, le petit dejeuner est en buffet, varié et régulièrement réapprovisionné. Les chambres sont propres, sans vis-à-vis, bien insonorisées. La literie est bonne, la salle de bain avec douche de belle taille. Un joli parc fait face à la salle du petit dejeuner (avec des cervidés) »

"Hôtel de l'ère soviétique rénové à minima. Chambre exiguë sans climatisation, sans ventilateur (caution obligatoire), sans bouteille d'eau (malgré la canicule), sans réfrigérateur, sans sèche-cheveux. Fenêtre de la chambre jamais nettoyée à l'ouverture problématique. Salle de bain super étroite. Impossibilité de se garer devant la réception sauf à utiliser l'immense parking payant (tarifs élevés).
