"The couple who run the hotel are very welcoming and friendly. The hotel is nicely decorated. My room was very clean and the bed was super comfy. The breakfast is all cooked to order and very tasty, especially the scrambled eggs which were the nicest I've eaten. I had some interaction with the other guests at breakfast and everyone seemed relaxed and happy."

"We were on an ebike trip from Lands End to John O'Groats and this was a very good hotel. We arrived absolutely soaked and no problem taking wet bikes and gear into hotel and they provided safe and secure (and dry) storage.The room had good heating and we got all clothes dry over night. Really enjoyed our evening meal and a fine breakfast next day. Staff could not have been more helpful. Very close to the National Cycle route too!"

"We had a great time. The staff and owners were lovely. The patio at the back of the hotel was great with amazing views. There was a little traffic noise but it didn’t spoil our stay. Great food. We would definitely recommend staying here."

"A beautiful little cottage, which was really well equipped, we had everything we could need, especially as the weather wasn’t kind ! A lovely hamper to greet us with homemade DELICIOUS jam; and even treats for our dogs… Lesley and James are close by should you need anything & they even helped us out with a pot of sugar that we’d forgotten… Polperro is a MUST visit nearby, beautiful little fishing village with some lovely shops and restaurants…. Bodmin prison also worth a visit our friends told us…!"
