Character Cottage - Dog Friendly With Luxury Hot tub & Log Burner A charming country cottage with exposed beams, logburner, fully enclosed garden & (optional) luxury private hot tub. The accommodation is pet friendly & with beautiful period features. It sleeps up to 5 in 3 bedrooms. Formerly a farm cottage & part of the Lanhydrock Estate (National Trust) it enjoys an enviable location, tucked away yet near to all amenities. There are many walking & cycle trails nearby and there is a golf club literally up the road. Within 5-10 minutes, you have a host of pubs and restaurants and Bodmin town is a short drive away. A rural retreat but only 15 mins from the nearest beach, it is the perfect blend of coast & country! The hot tub is an optional extra as we realise that not everyone wants a hot tub and therefore we believe they should not have to pay for it. For those wanting to hire it, we need as much advance notice as possible so that we can get it professionally prepared. Payment is on arrival and can be made to the hot tub company direct. Other special requests are also accommodated where possible, be it booking a restaurant or ordering shopping, or arranging for flowers for special occasions. Good location, regarding sight seeing, but could hear the noise of traffic when sitting in the garden. As it was really hot on our trip, a parasol in the garden would have been ideal. Also behind the cottage was another cottage's garden so for privacy needed to pull down the blinds. The host was very helpful and communicated a couple of issues before our arrival.
