« Stayed in wheel lodge for a short 4 night stay in the Summer school holidays. Accommodation just right as a base for x 2 people and our dog. Good facilities and everything you needed for a short stay. Comfy and clean - there were a fair few well established cobwebs in the bedroom and flies, but this is to be expected in a working farm. A fly swat would be useful though - especially for a quiet undisturbed sleep at night. All linen, bathroom and utensils absolutely spotless though. Owners were...

« This is a beautiful location. The cottage itself is spotlessly clean and cosy with everything you need. Plenty of room for a family of 4. If you’re after a peaceful spot this is perfect. Only a very short drive to Port Isaac. We would love to come back again next year for a longer stay. Hosts are also extremely friendly :-) Thanks so much for having us. »

« Beautiful property of high standard and in easy reach of many scenic places. We loved the cottage which had everything to hand as if at home. Towels and bedding supplied and the only single thing missing was a tumble dryer although a washing machine was provided. Line drying was an option but the weather too wet and a clothes horse was too but a dryer preferred. A freezer was something not offered encountered but was provided in this cottage but we had no need of it. We enjoyed our stay very...

The host Michael had sent me a very informative email before our stay and then sent a check-in email during our stay. The park itself is quiet and the lodges aren't on top of each other. « Excellent location to explore the south west of Cornwall. Homely cottage. Just right for 2 people. Lovely to have the St Kew Inn just 300 yards away. Very popular so bookings essential. Do try the moules. They were delicious. »

« Easy going, relaxed family holiday, including 8 adults, a baby and two dogs, in a large, homely, clean, well equiped, historic shooting lodge. Plenty of activities are possible on the premises and nearby there are a multitude of beaches, towns, historic sites and restaurants (advisable to book during the summer!). The shooting lodge is located on an estate with plenty of woodland walks and a very friendly host family in the nearby main manor. »

« We stayed for 11 days and loved the house. Wide angle camera lenses often create the illusion of bigger spaces, but this flat really was very spacious. The bedroom was big with a nice bed and plenty of storage (a bigger bed would be ideal). Separate toilet and shower rooms were nice. The kitchen was big and well fitted. The real bonus was the spacious lounge with two couches (although the TV definitely needs to be upgraded). The wood-burning stove was wonderful. The location is super convenient...

« We had a lovely time. It is on a working farm so be prepared for smells and very narrow roads. We had several encounters with tractors on single lane tracks. »
