There are two living areas which is perfect for families with children. The outside deck is huge and the hot tub is set up on the higher deck for optimal ocean viewing. It is spacious and comfortable, with the fireplace adding to the cozy, beachy vibe. While there’s an ocean view, it’s partially obstructed, and the beach itself isn’t visible—but the sunset is absolutely stunning. Reaching the two nearby beaches isn’t a simple stroll. Instead, accessing them requires a bit of a challenging climb, and both are gravel rather than sand. The best part of the property was the beautiful view. At one point I tried to contact the Property Manager and just got voice mail jail. It would have been nice to have a binder with instructions at the property. I did read all the other instructions but it is convenient to have instructions at the property. A generic list of stuff to do was sent on the day of checkout telling us to strip sheets off the bed which we did and to load the dishwasher which there wasn't one. Dec 6, 2022 #### Not handicap accessible. Dirt. Ants. Asked if it was handicap accessible and was told yes. There are multiple steps into a winding front door; bathroom on main floor is not up to ADA standards to get into the bathroom, let alone to the toilet. Threshold onto deck also quite a steep for electric wheelchair. None of the bedrooms were wide enough to get a chair next to the bed to transfer. Folded back comforter and muddy dog prints everywhere. Ants throughout the kitchen cabinets and counter. Otherwise, eclectic house without a dishwasher. Amazing deck and sea weeded grass yard that is huge but muddy from fog. Quiet neighborhood. Nice views from deck and hot tub. ##### Brian A. I booked this cottage for two nights for four adults and two children hoping for a cozy and clean oceanside stay. Overall, it met my expectations. The house is roomy, much larger than the pictures make it seem. The bedrooms were tidy, linens were comfortable. Bathrooms were spotless. I appreciated the dove brand shampoo and conditioner. The proximity to the closest beach was convenient. The hot tub was clean and wonderful and provided almost a 180° view of the ocean. The sizable backyard allowed my kiddo to play freely. Concerns: The kitchen is begging for a renovation. The countertops in the kitchen are outdated and this unit does not have a dishwasher. The couches were slightly stained and had long white dog hair on them. When I reached out to Vacasa cleaning service, they apologized, but they did nothing to rectify. I realize this property is dog friendly, and dog hairs here or there is excusable, but what we saw was copious amounts of hair. The cleaning crew should be vacuuming the furniture between guests. I opened some windows to air out the unit and inquired with Vacasa , where the thermostat was so as to not waste energy from heating the place with the windows open. When I reached out to ask where the thermostat was, they told me that the unit was not equipped with central heating and air. We ended up finding a thermostat between the living room in the kitchen behind a door. This response made me feel like Vacasa did not have a good understanding of this unit. Tips: There’s a coffee maker and Keurig here. BYOCoffee as there is no complimentary coffee in the kitchen. Like I said, all in all: 4/5 stars. We would have preferred to not be bothered. Overall it was a good stay, house appliances are a little outdated. ##### Jessica G. It needs the maintenance issues to be taken care of and a company that is more responsive. Called on broken coffee pot 6:30 first morning. Called 3x before a call back 2 days later.
