The kitchen was incredibly well stocked with anything you need to prepare a meal. The hot tub was very clean and heated up quickly. The location of the home and surrounding golf course is stunning with a beautiful view of the ocean. It was an easy walk to the beach, an equally easy short drive to the community of Bodega Bay and the charming cafés and restaurants and some stunning coastal hiking. For larger shops 30 minutes to Sebastapol, which is a charming city with all you need. It was a peaceful location with barely any noise or light pollution, we know we shall return to this part of the California coast to access clean air and calm living.We spent over two weeks and cooked at home often. All appliances, incl. outdoor grill worked great and cupboards had plenty of flatware and glasses. Any queries we had were met with thoughtful and immediate response by the lovely property manager. It had the amenities of a five star hotel, with the privacy and secluded peace of a quiet retreat. They even provided popcorn for a movie night, and robes for the hot tub! The locations was perfect. Be aware of the hidden bed frame corners to avoid bruised shins - Would have been nice if showers had hand held shower head options as the ones there were not great for kids. Also water pressure was very low - Due to high ceilings and low water pressure the bathrooms were freezing when showering - Wish none allergenic bedding (none feather pillows etc) were available - electronics, TV’s usb/usb-c ports were great and readily available - Though summer time, much too windy to go to the beaches. Golf course was almost unplayable. The spacious accommodation comfortably housed our party of five adults, three children, and our family dog. The master bedroom is truly impressive - expansive and well-appointed. While the other two bedrooms are notably smaller, they provided adequate comfort for our group. The home's layout offered plenty of personal space for everyone. What makes this location special is its peaceful setting. Evening walks were a highlight, sometimes shrouded in atmospheric fog, other times beneath brilliant star-filled skies. The soothing sound of distant waves creates a perfect backdrop throughout the property. A short half-mile stroll brings you to a pristine, uncrowded beach. Though dogs officially require leashes, weekday visits afforded our pup some joyful off-leash freedom when the beach was deserted. The property was immaculately clean upon our arrival - a detail we greatly appreciated. The garage parking is a convenient feature. Our only minor observation was the hot tub, which could have been slightly cleaner, though understandably this amenity sees considerable use between guests.
