Enjoy views of the stars in the dark sky from the private hot tub. 2 bedrooms and baths are on the top floor. All beds are queen sized to help you drift away to sleep as you listen to the waves. We have resident sea lions that hang out in front of the house and can be seen frolicking throughout the day! At certain times we live on property in separate private quarters with a separate entrance. It is our part time residence. When you send an inquiry for specific dates we can tell you if we will be there at that time. Even then, you will still have the 2 beds/ 2 baths/kitchen / living room/ deck/ fire pit/ BBQ grill and hot tub all to yourselves. WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW: Wifi and cell signal is spotty in this area and is not guaranteed for your stay. At times there may be limited or no wifi access, which can be nice to relax and unplug sometimes. Verizon cell service typically is very strong but other carriers may not work throughout the town. To access beach you have a 1-2 minute drive, or you can walk down the driveway and down a steep hill to the sand. Impossible to get any closer to the ocean and a one minute walk to an uncrowded beach. My 2-year old daughter and I did some "deck camping" and fell asleep to the sound of the waves. The indoor bedrooms are also very comfortable. Great location just north of Bodega Bay - away from the crowds, but only 4-5 minutes to get into town. Oct 16, 2018 #### Fantastic Views We have never stayed in a VRBO where the owner was so responsive, helpful and informative. Her recommendations for the area's best clam chowder, hiking trails, and local wineries made our trip quiet memorable. The ocean views from the rental were simply incredible rain or shine. The fire pit was inviting, as well as a soak in the hot tub after a day's adventures. As a bonus, we also spotted sea lions and whales spouting on the horizon. The unit was well equipped and very clean. We highly recommend this rental especially if you enjoy the sound of the surf and crave relaxation. ##### Grant L. We thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay at this lovely home. The views are quite possibly that best of any home we've ever rented on the Sonoma Coast. The upper level is quaint but and hosts two bed/two bath + the living room and kitchen. There is a third "apartment" on the lower level with it's own coffee maker and bathroom, but it is not accessible from the inside of the main living area (only from outside). The deck was a perfect location for enjoying the waves and sunset, and the firepit made evenings fun. The BBQ looks like it was once propane but now requires charcoal. We had everything to enjoy a getaway off the grid. We were very comfortable in this welcoming home. It was very clean and Debbie had everything set up for us to take full advantage of all the amenities. Debbie was very accommodating and communicated with us to make sure our journey there and stay were great. There are several outdoor spaces , a built in grill, patio area , hot tub, and an ocean view firepit. We enjoyed a sunset by the firepit and wine. Your close to wineries, Russian river, and scenic coastal drives. Restaurants and grocery are all close by as well. Debbie is an excellent host and takes time to make sure you enjoy her property. Perched above the rocky coast with amazing views, it was the perfect location for traveling Coastal California Highway 1. Our host, Cheryl, had everything in order: kitchen drawers marked with contents, night motion lights on the stairs that worked perfectly, hot tub for that late night dip, gas fireplace that came on with the flick of a button, outdoor fire pit on the porch, and she gave some super recommendations for places to visit and eat. Northern California is a different world with rocky coastline, quaint towns that harbor amazing restaurants, and of course wine vineyards galore. I almost don't want to share how wonderful I found this place because I feel like we discovered a secret that is going to get out. What an amazing cottage - had everything we needed and was perfectly comfortable. My wife and I went with our 17 month old daughter and our dog. The dog took long naps on the deck and loved how peaceful it was. The beach is literally steps away which was perfect for us with our little one as we didn't have to worry about bringing too much stuff with us since we could run home for lunch and naps. My heart broke when we had to check out because we were all so happy there. Which just means we will be back! Another bonus - the host Cheryl was a great communicator and so very helpful. She made sure we had what we needed and gave us great recommendations. I don't think I've ever stayed with a nicer more helpful host. ##### Valerie F.
