Dear Mr. Saldaña,We are very sorry to read that you were not happy with our staff and our beautiful facilities- we take pride in our spectacular setting and the beautiful surroundings as well as in our highly rated staff. We always aim to provide the best experience to all of our guests. This was a unusual booking experience (and stay) for us and we would like go over the chronology of any possible inconveniences on your end with our hotel:On your check in date, you were here for lunch in our ocean view restaurant and informed us that the room you had booked would not work for you because of the amount of people in your group (you booked a room with a rate for two people and wanted to have 4 people in the room), however the room you chose had a maximum capacity of 3 people. Each room is dully identified with number and size of beds and maximum capacity for each client to make an informed decision when booking, so it is surprising to us that this claim be made at check in date but our staff always tries to be accommodating and offered alternatives.We gave you options to get another room available in our premises or in the neighbor hotels and you said you were looking into it and coming back.After leaving, you sent two email requesting to cancel the reservation and a demanded full refund to be made. As per your request, we proceeded to cancel the reservation but reminded you that as an Expedia Booking (being on check in date), we would have to request the cancellation directly with them, but that the refund was not applicable as this was the check in date and as per your Expedia rate policies and our property policies, a refund does not apply. Then you proceeded to ask for your reservation to be reinstated as you would not be getting a full refund and said you would be checking in. We accommodated this new request, withdrew the cancellation request and reinstated your booking and let you know that your room was available for check in at your convenience.You checked in later that day by yourself and surprisingly you never came back to the property for your two night stay. Instead, a lady with a child came in later at 8:30pm at night asking to check into your room, we were not previously informed of this situation by you, but were accommodating and asked her to please have you call us to authorize her to enter your room. Once you made a call to our staff we took this person to your room. You told our manager that you were on your way to our hotel, but you never came back to our property while they were here. Again, as peculiar as this circumstance might have been, we tried to be super accommodating with you, your requests and the person that stayed in your place in our property.We thank you for taking the time write a review on Expedia.
