FULLY FURNISHED RUSTIC LOG CABIN ON TROUT STREAM w/ WIFI

Wet a line from your back deck! This trout angler's paradise, located on the banks of famous Fightingtown Creek, has all the comforts of home. They don't build 'em this close to the water anymore!

NO PETS. Sleeping up to 4 people on queen beds.This 1 bedroom, 1 full bath cabin has a large sleeping loft, with 2 queen beds, overlooking the spacious living room with cathedral ceiling & wood-burning fireplace. Master Bedroom has a queen bed, as well. A large upper deck w/gas grill, porch swing, rocking chairs, dining table with umbrella, and HOT TUB!!! Also, enjoy the splendor of the creek from the lower level deck that extends out over the trout stream!! DISH Satellite TV/DVD/VCR, central heat & air, Hot Tub, Dryer only.

This cabin is located directly beside the trout fishing stream.

Relax in the jetted hot tub while overlooking a private view of the clear rambling stream, rhododendrons, mountain laurel & open sky. No cabins across stream!! VERY PRIVATE! Not a hot tub person? Sit back in rocking chairs or swing while listening to the rushing water over the mountain rocks.

This cozy retreat comes with a 2 story woodburning stone fireplace.

This is a true rustic log cabin, tastefully decorated, with all amenities. Open dining area. Kitchen has breakfast bar with 2 barstools. Kitchen is fully furnished, even for the gourmet cook! Don't enjoy cooking? Catering is available either delivered to the door, or cooked at the cabin. Lots of restaurants nearby.

Many recreational activities year round include: white water rafting (all levels),float (tubing) the Toccoa river, fishing, boating on Lake Blue Ridge (approximately 4 miles-boat rentals available), antique shopping, Scenic Railway Rides (3 miles-Downtown Blue Ridge), horse back riding, biking, hiking, golf and more!

NOTICE TO REGARDING THE USE OF CAMERA SURVEILLANCE ON PROPERTY: For the safety of our property and renters, the property owners employ camera surveillance equipment for security purposes. This equipment may or may not be monitored at any time. One camera will be utilized only at the front door where there is no “reasonable expectation of privacy.” Cameras will not be installed in “private” areas such as the interior of the premises, deck, or hot tub.

Wonderful!!!
Once again we had great time! Love the cabin and the river sound. Sitting on the porch in a rocker or on the swing Is so soothing and peaceful. Getting in the hot tub and seeing the river and the trees and then the night sky is heaven made. The kitchen had every dish, pots and pans we needed. Cabin is so clean Angela does a great job. The communication with the owner Julie is quick to respond if needed. We love it and can’t wait to return.

Another Great Weekend!!
Thank you Julie for another fantastic weekend at your “Little Slice of Heaven” in Blue Ridge. This is a perfect cabin for a weekend getaway or more. This was our second time here and we are already looking at dates for our next stay. I see there are some comments about the driveway being an issue but I assure you it is not. Julie has very detailed directions and if you read those and have some common sense, it is no problem at all. Thanks again and look forward to the next time. Ladd

Beautiful Cabin & Location. Perfect Instructions
The photos of this cabin don’t begin to show the beauty and peacefulness of this cabin. While the Blue Ridge area has so much to see and do, be prepared to want to never leave the property. The large covered deck has rocking chairs and a swing. Sitting there rocking while looking over the stream and into the woods felt like being a part of a fairytale or like a scene from The Secret Garden. Inside the cabin is just as wonderful. The living room area has a full wall of floor to ceiling windows and the furniture is comfortable and cozy. The bedroom is adorable with antiques that are a perfect style for a mountain cabin. The bed is very comfortable. The cabin was spotless. You couldn’t tell that someone was there right before us. The bathroom isn’t huge but not so small that you feel cramped The kitchen has everything you will need. I would like to address some of the issues in the very few less than 5 star reviews. Two issues they mentioned were the “difficult driveway” and a “very hard to open lockbox”. I will admit that the driveway would be quite the challenge for some who didn’t bother to read the instructions. We followed Julie’s very detailed and thorough instructions about both the driveway and the lockbox and had no problems what so ever. Julie’s directions to the cabin were also detailed and thorough. Julie was quick to respond & very gracious about an issue that was 100% our fault. We will return many times to this wonderful , peaceful cabin.

Wouldn't have gone if ALL info had been upfront!
Julie told me less than a week before check-in that the gravel road down to the cabin and the specific lane into the cabin was narrow, difficult to traverse, and as described in letter that came too late to cancel, was easy to get stuck on. Had I known that, I wouldn't have booked it. My wife was terrified by the narrowness of the road and what we had to do to get in. And she is handicapped and because I couldn't drive to the front door, she had to walk. My brother and his wife have a 4 wheel drive jeep. They stayed and they got stuck! There were other things that were not in the Vrbo listing that should have been -- not as serious as the entrance road and the driveway, but off-putting nevertheless: a washer and dryer that we cannot use (the washer specifically, and the front page of the listing says both are there), bringing our own toilet paper and paper towels, and other things that have been included in every mountain cabin where we have stayed (and we've done 5 rentals in Clayton GA and Asheville NC). We booked the cabin in good faith, and that good faith was not returned. To leave out the danger of the entrance road and the driveway was not in good faith. To tell me about the dangers after the time to get a refund had passed was not in good faith. To not tell me about the driveway that my wife would have had to traverse on foot because I could not drive down to the cabin was not in good faith. Stayed less than 24 hours. My request for compensation was ignored.

We had an awesome stay, gilled out, hot tub and fishing. One trout 20inchs 4lbs and another 18inch 3 lb. 2 yrs ago I put a 24 inch 7 lb on the wall. Looking forward to another adventure next year.

The cabin was older, but it was nice. It was extremely cold. The kids had a great time. The only issue was getting in and out of the driveway. It sat down the hill, it was difficult to get out.
