The house itself is beautiful and impeccably maintained. Everything was well outlined and we felt very well accommodated. Our hosts were thoughtful and friendly and quick to answer when we got lost. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay and all the detail that was put into making our stay so enjoyable. The house was so spacious and very clean, all of the things we needed to function were provided and we brought our own food. The hot tub made it relaxing and the added touches like the fireplace and fire pit were lovely. History about the home and nearby recommendations were in a handbook, as well as directions on how to use almost everything in the house, no detail was overlooked! It is WAY off the beatin path so expect a 20 minute drive to get to amenities or stores. When you arrive all you hear is a babbling creek and breeze through the trees. The cabin itself was very well stocked with everything you’d need. The furnishings were sufficient and the bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve slept on in a VRBO. I was surprised to find that the bedroom and bathroom are downstairs. Upstairs is a reading book and a locked door which I assume were the owner’s personal belongings. The downstairs was plenty large enough for my wife and I to relax. The fireplace is wood burning not gas, so be prepared for a slight fireplace smell in the cabin. It’s not off putting, but just present. Overall it was a fantastic relaxing weekend miles from anywhere. ##### Scott C.
