Hiking get away

The house is a good size for a larger group with lots of sleeping space. Nice open kitchen/ family room area. Great fire pit and outdoor living space with large covered porch and hot tub. My group was only 2 people so was more than ample space for us. The main goal of my stay was to go hiking. There are lots of hiking areas but most are at least a 45 min drive from the house. I recommend doing the Blue Ridge Scenic Train. That was a fun day outing with shopping and lunch in nearby McCaysville, Copperhill and Blue Ridge. Highly recommend eating at Southern Charm across from the train depot. I also did a whitewater rafting trip on the Ocoee River that was awesome! Blue Bear BNB was a great place to stay. The outdoor area just needs a little TLC. I'm sure it's difficult to maintain a rental surrounded by trees but could use a little tidying up. Ramon did a great job of communicating and answering questions that I had. Overall a great place to stay and I would stay again.

Can’t Wait for My Next Stay!

I absolutely loved staying here! As a frequent cabin visiter, I can confidently say that this cabin is the perfect spot because it gave you the serenity of being peacefully on top of a mountain, without the hassle of the drive. The cabin was very cozy and beautifully decorated. The hot tub and the fire pit amenities truly give you the feeling of a blissful cabin getaway, which is exactly what I was looking for. My only regret is that my trip was not longer, but don’t worry, I’ll be back! Thank you, Ray, for being such a wonderful host!

Nice getaway

So grateful to have gotten to stay at this beautiful cabin. The atmosphere was so nice as we enjoyed the hot tub, the fire pit was gorgeous!! String lighting definitely set the mood. I look forward to staying here again the next time we are in Blue Ridge, thank you Ramon for being a responsive and thoughtful host.

Wonderful Updated Rustic Cabin

This cabin is located close to civilization but still very serene. We had chilly weather but the fire pit and hot tub were awesome. Host was more than helpful with any questions and the kitchen is fully stocked.
