My husband and son enjoyed fishing on the lake from the dock and took the boat out several times as well. It’s close to hiking and both nearby towns. Like other reviewers have said try to arrive during the day because the road is a little intimidating the first time you travel it. It is a one lane road so one way in and one way out and you have to yield to traffic so that can be a bit nerve wracking when you don’t drive on hilly/curvy roads all the time. Just like other reviews definitely arrive during the day, mountain roads are super narrow. We were able to use google maps to find the cabin just fine, it had some of the road names wrong but the directions up the mountain were correct. Enjoyed the massive deck in the evenings along with the lake in the back. Quite the hike up the stairs from the lake but well worth the trip. Saw a few “bugs” in the kitchen but nothing too alarming and considering the location very understandable. Overall clean and would definitely recommend. ##### Jennifer N.
