Cabin was comfortable and clean. Love the outdoor living area with fireplace, hot tub, comfy couch, and several tables. We got to see 5 deer in the woods from the dining room on our last morning. Cabin was close to grovery stores and activities.
Lovely quaint cabin, feels secluded. We really enjoyed the creek sounds and small rapids just down the creek from us, so relaxing. We would certainly go back, and have already recommended this cabin to our adult children (in their 30’s).
Absolutely loved this cabin! A great place to go and unwind from every day life. This was probably one of our favorites. The location is perfect! We loved being right on the river, was very clean and well stocked. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend to anyone!
Amazing location, the house was the perfect size for my husband and I and the water was terrific! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and felt right at home. It was the perfect place to go have a relaxing and romantic getaway. We will be back.
Trip was awesome and very close to everything. We loved the cabin very private and the outdoor fireplace and hot tub was absolutely amazing. One thing I believe needs to be listed in this rental is that you must have a 4x4 vehicle to leave the cabin not bad going down but going up was hard even in my 4x4. Everything about this place was great will be back again.
We had a wonderful time. The cabin is located on a creek, so the view for breakfast each morning was phenomenal. I highly recommend staying in this cabin. Rooms are big, and the kitchen suited our needs perfectly. The winding roads take some skill maneuvering if you have a large vehicle, but the destination is worth it!
Gorgeous property with a fantastic outdoor area. We only went inside to sleep! Drank coffee and hung out by the water each morning and stayed on the deck talking late into the night. ❤️
The cabin was wonderful and nestled right along the creek in the woods! Our family enjoyed some much needed R&R—fishing, hiking and simply spending time with one another! 10 out of 10 people would recommend!!! Thank you for the memories :)
If you are looking for a peaceful getaway right on the water, look no further. This was a GREAT place to stay- only minutes from downtown Blue Ridge, yet so private and secluded! I highly recommend Creekside R&R. The only thing I would add, because it would be good to know in advance, is that you should not drive a car that’s low to the ground to get to this place. The road is not paved and there’s a few spots that are kind of washed out with large holes. Still a great spot though!
Loved the cabin and how close to the river it was amazing!! We really enjoyed our stay. Only a few things I would’ve known about before arriving; the driveway/road is very narrow and could be difficult to navigate if you were in a small car. Especially exiting the property you have to go up a very steep hill that is very curvy. Would have also been nice to know that there is an area passed the cabin to turn around. Other than that we loved the cabin and would stay there again. The outdoor fireplace was amazing to hang out by, my friend and I pretty much stayed there all day while our husbands fished.
We arrived prepared for the tricky entrance as many before us left reviews encouraging 4x4 vehicles. Definitely recommend this! EBR does it right and had the cutest welcome kit sitting on the dining room table. The weather was amazing and added to the ambiance. The cabin is so well stocked and extremely cozy. The view and sounds of the creek are as relaxing as it looks in the photos. The only issue we had was with the coffee maker as the heating element was broken - we simply improvised and made it work. After long days hiking, we enjoyed the hot tub and listening to the creek. We highly recommend staying here for any sort of quick or extended getaway. We also recommend trying Chester's wings, a nice dinner at Whiskey & Water, Mercier's Orchard, Folk Collaborative for lunch (and all the herbal supplies - ask for Luke if you have herbal questions!!), Amicalola Falls (strenuous hike up about 600 steep steps), and hiking the AT to the Southern Terminus. Absolutely stunning view! Just soak up the mountain views, the quaint town of Blue Ridge, and all the nature excursions you can fit in. An unforgettable and perfect place to stay.
We so appreciate being able to re-book our stay after Helene came through.
The cabin was so comfortable; we didn't take advantage of several of the amenities available; but nice they were there. Location was private and the creek peaceful. Bed was fantastic, ease of gas logs was relaxing. Furniture was extremely comfortable! Beautiful cabin! Remodeling next door was going on, but that can not be controlled. The driveway was dangerously steep and unexpected. We do not have a 4 wheel drive and would not re-book for that reason alone. We really appreciated the early check-in as well! We enjoyed our hike on the Fightingtown Creek Nature park and being with nature and in a cabin that we felt safe and pampered in.
We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin! It was so clean and cozy — you can tell the owners take great care of it. The location right by the creek was beautiful and made it such a peaceful getaway. We loved sitting outside and listening to the water.Just a heads-up for anyone planning to stay: the driveway going down to the cabin is a bit tricky, especially if wet, we struggled mightily to get up the driveway.
We fell so in love with this little creekside cabin. It was very clean and offered all of the necessities we needed for our weekend getaway. Everything was in working order and we didnt have any trouble. The creek is literally right off your back deck and is so peaceful. We would 10/10 recommend this beautiful place to family and friends.
