It was calm, quiet and peaceful and felt far off the beaten path; yet, just up the road was downtown Blue Ridge with delicious restaurants (from pubs to upscale) and plenty of shopping and things to do. Walmart was also a stone’s throw from the cabin and Mercier Orchard too. In short, the location was terrific. As for the house/property, I couldn’t get my kids out of the creek. They had so much fun exploring, paddling, splashing & kayaking; plus the swing from the dock kept my 5 year old busy for hours. House was clean and tidy, and the Infinity game table was fun for all of us and a great touch. Special shout out to Wendy for being on top of everything and anticipating our every need. With storms coming through, she proactively messaged to let us know where to find flash lights if the power went out. Her care and communication made the visit extra special.
