Perched on a hillside in Epworth, two miles from the Cohutta Wilderness Area and an 11-mile drive to the shops and restaurants of downtown Blue Ridge, the tri-level, log-sided and barn wood cabin tastefully mixes traditional and rustic décor, and features unique touches that will welcome you into this delightful retreat. Prepare to relax, be inspired, and find joy in everything that surrounds you. The main living area is a showstopper, with a vaulted ceiling and enormous windows that maximize the incredible view. Put a log on the wood burning fireplace and settle into the comfortable leather couch (with two reclining sections) to watch the 50” Smart Smart TV, one of four flat screens in the cabin, all with DISH network. The adjacent kitchen is spacious and fully stocked, with custom cabinets, granite counters, stainless appliances, gas stove and oven, icemaker, crockpot, and Keurig coffeemaker. There's room for four at the breakfast bar, and the dining table seats six, but can accommodate eight with extra chairs. Prefer to dine alfresco? No problem: there's a gas grill on the main level deck along with a wood burning fireplace and comfy seating. Your rental gives also you access to the neighborhood's picnic area, furnished with a grill, tables, a gazebo, a stocked fishing pond, and many nearby hiking trails. After dinner, you can soak your cares away in the six-person hot tub or head to the game room to play pool, board games, watch movies or play games on the DVD and Xbox equipped 50” Smart TV. When it's time to turn in, the cabin's three inviting bedrooms ensure a restful night's sleep. The view is fantastic! Sat outside every morning and enjoyed coffee during sunrise. We saw three deer under our balcony and a field full of them driving into town. It was an easy trip to downtown Blue Ridge for all the things it had to offer. The couch was great to relax on at the end of our days. Big and cozy! Overall, this is exactly what we were hoping it would be. My son wants to come back in the summer and so do I! Nice and peaceful. We had lots of fun relaxing, hanging out in the hot tub, and playing pool. All of the beds were very comfortable! The driveway is extremely steep and there is a fairly large bump when coming off the main road to turn onto the driveway, so be careful. We were driving a van and ended up finding it easier to drive to the top of the mountain (a few more cabins up), turning around, and then entering the driveway from above rather than below. We also had a set of dog visitors on the back porch most of our trip. They were extremely sweet, but we did get concerned about them being outdoors overnight in the 20ish degree weather. There is no leash law in the county and the owner (we called) refused to come get them, so there was nothing that we could do, but again, they were very sweet. All in all, we had a great stay and we were sad to have to head home at the end of the week. ##### Erin C. Very comfortable beds and a nice clean hot tub It was a very peaceful location and a nicely treed in area The driveway is very steep and if you have a lot of things in your car or a bike rack with four bikes on the back like us it might be hard to get up the driveway. It is a 15 minute drive off the main road to get to the house. Not a problem if you’re planning to relax and stay at the cabin but we were on the go exploring each day when we arrived we were greeted by two large dogs. The dogs acted like they wanted to come inside. we called the number on the tags and the woman said that they wander and they werent lost. They were friendly dogs but I’m pretty sure one of them gave my son a tick. There was also some dog hair on the outside patio. So anyone renting might just wanna be aware and not startled when dogs approach them I know some people can be scared or allergic ##### Lauren P.
