They had a beautiful Christmas tree set up already. The cabin has 3 floors with steep stairs. They had a couple of baby gates there that we used for the little ones. The drive up the mountain was beautiful during the day, but a little scary at night, but we managed in a minivan. The town isn’t a far drive and has everything you need there. The cabin was nice, as you can see in the pics. What doesn't show up in the pics is the convenience of the location. It is between Ellijay and Blue Ridge, just off the main highway, so it is very convenient to both. It was just me and my wife for this trip, but we noted that each of the 3 bedrooms is on a different level, so it would work well for 3 couples are a large family. Leaking faucet in kitchen, light bulbs burned out and missing fireplace tool, which we were asked to clean out the ashes from the fireplace before we left. All of this left us very disappointed.
