Room was very basic with badly stained carpet, only one chair despite the room accommodating three people, and the first (and lingering) impression was that despite it being one of the most expensive motels I stayed in while I was away, it was the least appealing. The reception area was more suitable for an automotive workshop than a motel, and unfortunately that left me expecting that the room would be terrible. - and that expectation was correct. Overall the staff were all very helpful, friendly. The accommodation was adequate and the evening meals were very tasty. The exception to the experience was the morning meal and the manner of the breakfast cook. Breakfast was on both days a disappointment with the food being cold, poorly cooked and of a lesser quality than most camps in the area. It appeared some food had been reserved from previous meals Further more the cook is quite rude and has very poor customer service. I would suggest placing this individual on a performance improvement plan, offering retraining or if this has already occurred / does not improve the quality of their service suggesting the individual move on. I simply could not recommend this business to other people from this experience. Cleaners only just started cleaning room when I arrived at 2pm. So I had to go for a drive & come back 30 minutes later.
