« The restaurant to dine was good and the service great. The breakfast was not the best we had but was good nonetheless. A big thank you to the staff that was adorable and helpfull. The room was a good size but I can't understand that they put a "family" room over the bar when they know that the family is staying a saturday night, which is the karaoke night. We were warned about the noise but the bed for our daughter was in front of the window and the music was really really loud. At some point,...

« Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à l'hôtel village. Tant au niveau de la chambre que des infrastructures. Super espace détente avec le spa et la salle de sport surtout après une bonne journée de randonnée, et puis le restaurant et vraiment top. Le personnel est vraiment super et toujours à l'écoute. Je recommande vraiment cet établissement. J'y retournerai. »

« Très bon séjour au Pillars House, que nous recommandons sans hésiter. Le logement est propre, confortable et bien situé pour visiter Édimbourg (arrêt de Tram à 3mn à pied). Le vrai gros plus pour nous a été l’accès à la cuisine commune : très propre, très bien équipée, et avec tout ce qu’il faut pour le petit déjeuner à disposition (céréales, pain, lait, confitures, thé/café, biscuits type Belvita…). « Shared canteen area is messy and not the cleanest. Shared bathroom upstairs has a shower which doesn't work. Television didn't work in my room (possibly the remote) - but it was very late and I couldn't be bothered chasing this up. I was awoken by very loud noises of arguing and fighting around 2.45am. I thought something serious was happening - but then realised the person in the next room had their television om at an unbearably loud volume. I obviously didn't want to knock their door and ask...

"Nous nous sommes retrouvés avec une amende de 100£ (+50£ de la part de la compagnie de location) car nous avons stationné 21 minutes sur le parking de l'hôtel (nous avions simplement fait le check in à l'accueil + déposé les valises dans la chambre). Rien ne nous a été demandé à l'accueil pourtant. C'est honteux !!!"

"Petit dej avec une proposition très limitée. Café filtre, jus d'orange pas frais et sans goût. Saucisses pas appétissantes avec l'aspect de pain mouiller. Pour ce qui est de la nuit, la litterie et coussins sont tres bien cependant peu voire pas d'isolation accoustique. L'on a entendu les voitures ainsi que le groupe de ventilation toute la nuit. Egalement tous les passages des autres clients ainsi que leurs conversations. Lorsque vous etes dans le couloir vous entendez l'eau de la douche de la personne dans la chambre... Bref ! Suffisant pour 1 nuit a condition d'avoir le sommeil lourd."
