The living room fireplace is not operational. THE LOCATION Black Mountain Cottage is 2.4 miles from downtown, where you'll find an array of restaurants, shops, and pretty Riverwalk Park. Hop on the Lookout Mountain trailhead in 4.8 miles, or head to Lake Tomahawk (3 miles) for top-notch fishing. Asheville is a favorite day trip destination, home to the historic Biltmore Estate, a thriving arts scene, and a number of microbreweries. Everything was very clean snd beautifully decorated. The beds and linens were very comfortable and the kitchen was nicely stocked. Loved having a washer and dryer available as well. Communication was very easy with the property manager. We were 4 minutes to the wonderful town of Black Mountain.
