Charm abounds upon entering, from the stone fireplace with gas logs to the thoughtful furnishings, your mountain getaway awaits. The main floor of the cabin offers a well-appointed kitchen, dining space for 4, a primary bedroom with a king-size bed, and a full bathroom with a spacious walk-in shower. The upper-level loft boasts an impressive A-frame ceiling with beams, a queen-size bed, and a full bathroom. A covered back deck allows you to enjoy the sounds of the creek under bistro-style lighting after an evening around the fire pit or soaking in the newly added hot tub. For avid hikers, Lookout Mountain is a great trail in nearby Montreat that is just under a mile long and offers stunning panoramic mountain views. Also in Montreat is the epic 4.8-mile Graybeard trail that showcases color-changing foliage in the fall when at its peak. Take a quick 5-minute drive to reach “The Little Town that Rocks,” Black Mountain. It rained frequently during our visit so we didn't have an opportunity to use the fire pit. We loved the back porch and spent several hours out there most days enjoying nature. Inside was clean but rather drab.The outside porches all had to be swept when we arrived. The master bed was not very comfortable.
