For almost a century, this cabin has been a haven for family memories and adventures. You won't find any WiFi or Alexa here, our cabin is focused on disconnecting from daily life and spending some time together... Just like the good ol' days! We offer a small collection of vinyl records and VHS tapes to keep you entertained, even a Nintendo and some board games if you are up for a challenge. We are located just 1 mile from downtown Black Mountain, so getting to the good stuff is easy! This cabin is very private while still being conveniently located. Local hiking trails are also about 1 mile from our cabin but there is plenty of space and trails to stretch your legs right outside our door. The host gave great instructions and was responsive. The town of Black Mountain had plenty to offer and is just a 2-3 minute drive or 17-20 minute walk away. Despite being that close, the cabin is at the edge of town and has a remote feel to it.It was nice to see that the owner has retained some of the old height measuring planks from the family that used to own this place. ##### Evan S. It had everything you could possibly need for an enjoyable stay. We especially loved the screened in porch for napping and reading. The bottle of wine and cookies were a sweet gesture. We loved the views of the mountains and forest around us and even were graced by a mama bear and her cubs. The record player, vhs tapes, and variety of cool things to do around the cabin kept us entertained even when relaxing around indoors. Black Mountain is also a beautiful little town with lots of unique shops and restaurants. We look forward to returning one day! Séjour de 2 nuits en juin 2025 ### 10/10 – Excellent #### greg c. 6 mai 2025 Points forts : Propreté #### THE BEST CABIN! this cabin was amazing its located perfectly up on the mountain its a 5 min to town theres so many shops and places to eat its a cute little town. me and my boyfriend had a blast the hot tub was so clean and easy to use. we relaxed and watched movies and ate a lot and drank. this was the best place ever. check in and check out is easy. the host left us a bottle of wine and goodies for our stay. 10/10 so clean and nice would definitely stay again!! ##### greg c. Met or exceeded expectations in all ways and really enjoyed the hot tub and screened in porch to relax! Highly recommend to anyone wanting to spend a weekend away.
