Professionally managed by North East Escapes, Magpie Cottage offers a stylish retreat in County Durham, perfectly positioned along the river Wear in picturesque Stanhope. This thoughtfully designed holiday home blends sophisticated comfort with riverside charm. Ideal for small groups and families exploring the Durham Dales, this dog-friendly property comfortably accommodates 5 guests across 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom.  
  
THE PROPERTY BREAKDOWN  
The property is arranged across 3 floors:  
Ground Floor:  
• Lounge – Comfortable seating, Smart TV, coffee table, and Log burner  
• Kitchen/dining – Open plan space connected to the lounge featuring an oven, hob, sink, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster, and microwave. A breakfast bar with ample seating.  
First Floor:  
• Bedroom 1 – Double bed, console table, bedside tables, and reading lamps.  
• Bedroom 2 – Single bed, chest drawers, and reading lamp.  
• Bathroom – Bath with overhead shower, toilet, and hand basin.  
Second Floor:  
• Bedroom 3 – King bed, Sofa, Smart TV, bedside table, and reading lamp.  
Outside:  
• Parking – available at the end of the road. The property is accessible via a pedestrian street  
• Garden – Small enclosed riverside garden with patio furniture.  
• Pets - Guests may bring up to 1 pet at £25 per stay. Pets must be added during checkout or later via the Guest Portal.
