And when it came to food, we were spoiled for choice—tons of cool local eats nearby, we tried out Burning Tree smoke house and Black Market Bar & Grill (which was just a short walk from house)The house itself was clean, stylish, and super comfortable. Rooms were spacious. Kitchen was stocked. Loved the round table where we played games. Plenty of towels, toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, detergent, etc! Delaine is a host who clearly cares. The house does not disappoint as it is beautifully decorated and furnished nicely. All the amenities you need are available. High line appliances and fully appointed rooms with Lovely showers and hidden rooms that added to the homes charm. Mattresses are comfortable but firm. Plenty of space for a large family. Parking was a bit of a challenge but we were able to manager it in the end. The tiny house out back was a hit providing additional privacy and accommodations. If this home were for sale I’d be first in line to purchase it. If ever in the Birmingham area this place is truly a home away from home spot! Don’t hesitate to book.
